Worst experience possible.
1) Shortly after giving JBT their 3rd progress payment, they had their crew pick up their tools and leave our job sight.
2) JBT did not pay for all of  the materials delivered to our home and a Lien was threatened on my home.  We had to pay for those materials to avoid this lien.
3) We had to sue JBT for the unfulfillment of our contract.  We won a small claims case.
4) Shortly after winning our small claims case, JBT declared banckruptcy.  We have not been made whole from JBT on this claim, and it is doubtful that we ever will.

They did not finish what they were supposed to finish. Half of the porch was left undone. I had paid them the last bit because they had done everyone else’s screen porch. He was hurting and needed some money, so we paid the last installment and then that was it. They never came back. We still have a leak on the roof which is running down the walls. I called several times, and he never came back. They said they would, but did not. So, we finally just dropped it, but they did not do it the way it should have been done.

We came across JBT at a home show.  They had (and still have) an A+ BBB rating, so we had them over to give us a proposal to replace all of our home windows.  Long story short, they are very knowledgeable, but a little harsh and pushy with their salesmanship.  They were not very clear on what product(s) they were ultimately proposing, as we discussed the pros and cons of varies types of windows.  Their original price seemed very high.  After we repeatedly told them we were not going to decide that day, they proposed a reduced price and payment plan, but were very unclear on the terms.  In the end, they refused to leave their proposal telling me, "Why, so you can show it to others?".  Really?  A contractor that does not leave a written proposal, also does not leave anything to think about.  They wasted our time and their time.

JBT Construction did a relatively good job fixing our issue with the roof. They gave us an estimate and we were expecting them to come. There was a misunderstanding and they were waiting for us to call them. So it took a while but they did a good job fixing it. There is an overhang at the entry and you can not tell it was fixed. I am rather pleased.
