I was debating if I should just replace the carpet when my sister called late in the afternoon from Idaho. She and my brother-in-law were on their way to pay me a surprise visit, and they would be arriving tomorrow afternoon! No debate about it, this was now an emergency situation. I pulled up Angie's List on my electronic device and looked for a local independent business with good references. I called Nice and Clean and spoke to the owner, Paul. He understood my urgency and scheduled me as his first appointment for the very next day. Paul arrived exactly at 9:00 AM dressed professionally in dark dress slacks and a crisp white shirt with Paul embroidered on the shirt. His immaculate late model van had Nice and Clean written on it, and all of the equipment was sparkling clean. I was very favorably impressed. Paul and I exchanged niceties and talked about the carpet. Paul had experience with the kinds of stains and odors my carpet had, and he felt confident he would be able to remove them to my satisfaction. He also reassured me that I needn't be embarrassed about the condition of the carpet. He went right to work moving furniture out of the way. I felt hopeful. An hour later Paul asked me look at the carpet and give my approval. I was relieved and amazed to find my carpet looking and smelling clean. We discussed that after he left If I noticed something he had missed or I had a suggestion for improvement to please let him know. I was very appreciative of Paul's willingness to fit me into his schedule, his professionalism, attention to detail and his desire to do the job to my satisfaction. I heartily recommend the local, small, independently owned and operated business Nice and Clean, and its owner Paul.

Since we have used Nice & Clean for our carpet cleaning previously and were very impressed with the expert, economical  and efficient job they did we did not have to think twice about who to contact after Christmas to clean our soiled upholtery. We thought we would have to replace one piece of furniture, but were surprised that after they cleaned it the piece looked almost new! Prices are reasonable and work is guaranteed. Another important plus is that this business is local to Newbury Park and Thousand Oaks. You are not dealing with out of town people (i.e. San Fernando Valley) that over charge and sometimes do not give you your monies worth. 

Paul is the owner and operator. We found him to be friendly, hard working and honest. In our opinion you cannot go wrong with this business. Be sure to ask for your First Time 25% discount!
