Newbury Park Veterinary Clinic

They're veterinarian is close,  honest, hardworking,  and sometimes calls you back 8 or 9 at night. He's good at following up. We've been fortunate enough to be able and request Dr. Richard Canan. The wait time is terrible. The whole healthcare field is changing. They're expensive for non educated people about their pets. What they're relying on is all these people have not any more knowledge about what they're giving them about their animals. A lot of the solo practitioners are about to retire. Sometimes we have to wait a day or two, but if it's that important I can use them. I don't know any other physicians that call in the middle or later in the evening. Not many of my colleagues do. They run their practices different than most practices I'm familiar with. They're much more metrically designated business model right now. The veterinarian reacted wonderful with my pet. He's great, knowledgeable and he listens. He is what you would want for your own pediatrician. He's current in his literature. He has a lot of knowledge about what is within the practice of special dog signs right now. He's pretty in tuned in what they just told us in studies and opinions.

Exceptional service and very caring.

We have went here before.   We are very happy with this vet and the only reason they didn't get all A's from me is that 24 hour hospitalization  is not available at their facility. 

They were good.  I don’t have anything to compare them to but they were fine.  They were very friendly.

It went very well. I have been to several veterinary clinics around town and basically I have settled on NewBerry Park Veterinary Clinic. I think they are great. The staff is very friendly and explains things well; I like the way they explain the treatment options. After the vet examines my dog and talk to me, she goes over treatment options that she would recommend starting from the basic to the expensive. When that is done, I get a written sheet listing all the treatment options and what the costs are. When we are talking animals, they cannot tell us what is wrong with them. So we go to the vet because they are more educated about them. It thought it was easy to understand and I did not feel like they were trying to sell me service that was not needed. I have been to other vets where they tell me what treatment they recommend but I am not clear about what the costs are and I end up getting a bill a lot more than I expect.

Very good; I was satisfied with receptionists, assistance, and doctor. Plan on making them my vet.

I had called and scheduled an appointment (a week in advance) for a site visit to see the clinic and meet with staff members to aid in my decision to use their services. I arrived at my scheduled time, but the receptionists would not acknowledge me, too busy with their conversation. Finally someone came out and said they had no idea I was coming. She did take the time to answer my questions and show me around, which I appreciated. The facility is nice, good conditions, with current equipment. However, the office could easily have been for a dentist. There was nothing that told me they were a vet - no animal pictures, quotes, cute dog/cat knicknacks. There was a fish tank, though. I appreciated their time, but I never got a feeling that my pet's care was that important. And the two staff members at the front? Still no acknowledgement as I left. This clinic was recommended to me, but I left deflated and disappointed. I want a vet who shows they love animals, understands their important role in our families, and treats them like the special creatures they are. Newbury Park Vet Clinic may be very good at veterinary medicine, but I also need to know how much they care.

I had a cleaning, it was nice. The staff there is really proficient, really sharp. The vet was good, I would go back to him definitely. They have a lot of veterinarians.

Great! We just moved to Newbury Park about a month ago and hadn't had time to find a veterinarian yet. Our male cat had a patch of fur missing on his leg and his skin was all red. I was worried so I called the veterinarian and they were able to fit me in the same day. We saw Dr. Eichelberger and he was very thorough and quite nice. I was comfortable at the facility and felt like they were well staffed. I purchased an omega-3 supplement for my cats and the veterinarian said that if they didn't eat it, I could bring it back.

THIS IS A GREAT VETERINARY CLINIC. THEY ARE ALWAYS PROFESSIONAL AND VERY FRIENDLY. I HAVE GONE TO THIS CLINIC FOR YEARS AND I AM COMPLETELY SATISFIED. DR HYMAN IS THE VERY BEST!! I AM GLAD TO HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO GIVE THEM MY RATING.

DODY IS A WONDERFULLY COMPASSIONATE VET WHO CARES ABOUT THE PETS AND THEIR OWNERS. THE CLINIC IS ALSO VERY GOOD. ONCE, WE HAD TO SEE ANOTHER DOCTOR WHEN DODY WAS OUT OF TOWN, AND HE WAS GREAT TOO. THE CLINIC IS SPOTLESS AND HAS A VERY FRIENDLY STAFF.
