Brenda's Housekeeping

Since we just bought the house, I was on the phone with the movers, painters, utility companies, etc,.. I had no time to supervise or even observe the cleaning people's progress. There were two people cleaning the house and I expected that it should take about 7 hours, and it only took them 3. I was surprised and relieved that this part of my to do list was done. I did a cursory walk through and thought everything looked ok. I paid them cash, and moved on to my next task.
My wife arrived about an hour later, and inspected the cleaning, thinking it was done to quickly and sure enough. They skipped all of the cabinets, the floor in the bathroom were not really washed.
Now, it was only an hour since they left, so I called them to have them come back and complete their job. The first number on their business card, had no answer and the voicemail was not activated. The second number, was a recording that had no option to leave a message. I proceeded to text both cell numbers. I attempted for two straight days to call and to text..
I never got a response. I blame myself for paying them without really inspecting their work or even watching them. I assumed since I got their info from Angie's List and they had two A ratings, that it was a safe booking.
Please be aware of this woman, and steer clear. This has been my fist bad experience using Angie's List.

They were efficient and quick. Brenda does a great job!

She did an excellent job! She cleaned everything, from the walls to the baseboards. She stayed 6 hours to make sure the whole job was completed. She tailored the cleaning to my requests, and really paid attention to detail. She was well worth the money. She's very honest and reliable. It was sparkling when she left--it felt so good to come into a home that looked that nice! I'm referring all of my neighbors to her!
