Barnett Chimney Sweep

Chris arrived on time, did a good job of keeping inside fireplace area protected during the work and left everything neat and clean. He also provided some tips on how to keep our chimney drawing well when we use it again. We are very satisfied with his work.

Chris cleaned our dryer vent. He did great work cleaning out a very dirty vent. He worked quickly and efficiently. He also replaced the tube leading to the vent. We are very pleased with his work.

Chris arrived and set-up the area around the fireplace, protecting the immediate surrounding area with drop clothes. He proceeded to clean the chimney, and when finished, reported on his findings.

The chimney sweep was prompt, covered the area around the fireplace with a drop cloth, cleaned the chimney thoroughly, and cleaned up after himself.

Chris went about his work in a courteous, prompt, efficient and professional manner. He completed his job and made recommendations for improvements which we plan to schedule for him come back and make. We were very pleased with his work.

Project went well overall. Dryer vent cleaning resulted in vastly improved dryer functionality.

Responded quickly to my request for service. Had a 9:00 appointment time but didn't arrive or call until after 9:30. He got right to work, pushed furniture out of the way, and covered the area around the hearth and flooring with drop cloths to contain any mess. He left the place as clean as when he arrived.

It went well. We felt it was time to have the chimney cleaned as part of regular household maintenance. I called for an appointment and since I spoke with Chris directly at that time, definitely received immediate feedback. He showed up right on time. Work was completed quickly but I do not feel it was rushed. Clean up was great - he is fully prepared with a tarp and wet/dry vacuum to avoid messes and keep clean up manageable. I added a chimney top which was installed same day.

We call on Christmas Eve, left a message and didn't expect a call for a week or so. He returned my call in a matter of minutes, scheduled an appointment for a few days later. He showed up on time, did excellent work, and even took the time to suggest how we should use our fireplace. It can burn both wood and gas, yet it needs the logs for full gas used. He said if we solely used gas then we shouldn't need to call him for many years (5). Also suggested I add some installation to the system, and to do it myself to save money. Excellent advice, work and service!!

He came out the day after I called and checked the chimney and tried to repair the damper. He couldn't free up the damper so he gave me several alternatives that I could choose from. I chose to put on a top damper with spark arrestor and to have the chimney cleaned. He couldn't do it that day because he doesn't carry the top damper on the truck. We made an appointment for the next Wednesday. He was a little late but called me to let me know. He completed the work quickly , neatly and carefully. I have a cream rug! He also let me know that I needed to get the roof caulked around the chimney.

HE WAS GREAT. HE TOOK HIS TIME, AND HE EXPLAINED A BUNCH OF STUFF TO ME ABOUT WHEN I SHOULD HAVE MY CHIMNEY CHECKED, DEPENDING UPON HOW MANY FIRES WE PUT IN IT A YEAR. HE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL. HE SHOWED UP WHEN HE WAS SUPPOSED TO. HE CALLED BACK LATER TO FIND OUT HOW THINGS WERE GOING.
