Description of Work: Set apt. Never showed up, I called 1 hr later. Was told someone was on there way... 2 hours later no one was there and no one would pick up phone or return my calls. I guess my job was not a "big job" so I was ignored ... Very unprofessional . So if you set a apt. Good luck getting them out to your house if they are busy

+ -1 moreDoug was very professional and finished the project quickly. He had all the right tools and his work has was exceptional. The patch is perfect, even 7 months later, it still looks great. I am so pleased I used Doug's service and I will call him again when I need more work on my carpets.
Description of Work: Repaired a small patch of carpet near a door that had been torn up by the puppy. He also repaired the door near the carpet, just out of kindness! There are still nice guys out there! Doug Burns is one! :)

+ 0 moreDoug came out on two occasions, once for some carpet repair and the second time for carpet cleaning. As for the carpet repair, he did an excellent job undoing the damage my cat had done trying to get under a bedroom door. Repair looks seamless and very well done. He arrived on time and got the job done in less than an hour. He did such a great job that I asked him to come back and clean the carpet for the entire house/ He provided an estimeate of 100 for the entire house, which was what he billed for. He did a through and professional job. Most of the stains out of the carpet and now looks great! I highly recommend using Doug!

+ -1 moreBurns did a good job repairing the carpet, and it saved us from having to purchase new carpet. I am very picky and noticed that Burns did better work when when someone was watching (when I wasn't watching, he did use too much glue in one area). I plan to replace my carpeting with wood floors later, but the repairs Burns made were good enough for us to keep the carpeting for several more years.
Description of Work: My cat had damaged the carpet in several rooms (the cat tore up the carpeting at the threshold. I was going to replace the carpeting. Instead, I had Burns come to stretch and repair the carpet. There were other spots in the house where the carpeting was coming up along the threshold.

+ 0 moreDoug Burns is very professional (he called last time to let me know he was going to be late) and he knows how to do his job well.
Description of Work: I have nice, 2 year-old, expensive, all wool, off-white carpet on my stairs. I also have 2 big dogs and a cat who, in the last year, have taken turns getting sick on the only carpeted area in the house. However, I am very fortunate because: 1. I have remnants and 2. Doug Burns (the owner) does a very good job when I need the carpet on my steps to be replaced.
