Felix seemed to do a good job of inspecting the houses, and afterwards he gave helpful verbal summaries of what he found. The reports were very thorough, though they did contain many pages of boilerplate cut-and-paste text. Overall, I was impressed by the service and glad that the inspections helped convince us not to buy the first three houses - well worth the money.
Almost a year after the last inspection, I asked them a question about the report. There appeared to be a cut-and-paste error that made it very ambiguous as to whether or not they found anchor bolts. I emailed twice to ask about this - no reply. Then I called and left a voicemail - no reply. I hate to give a less than glowing review, but one would think that after being hired four times, they could at least give me the courtesy of a reply, if only to say and quot;I don't knowand quot;.
(Not sure about the price paid, because it was part of a bundle with Prime Exterminators.)

Felix is awesome. We first met Felix when he inspected the home we were selling on behalf of the buyers. He did such a great job explaining what he found and his report was so amazingly detailed that we hired him to inspect the house we were interested in buying. He performed an extremely thorough inspection and found items that the sellers inspector missed. He wrote an extensive report, explaining in detail all of his findings and recommendations. He then re-inspected the property after repairs had been made. Felix is superb and we highly recommend him.

Home Savvy appeared on schedule and performed an extremely thorough inspection. The inspector was able to answer all my questions and did not rush through the inspection or follow-up discussion. His report was very detailed. It highlighted the issues that required immediate attention and made numerous recommendations for maintaining and improving the property. For example, the report listed several measures that would improve the energy efficiency of the house.

We like to call him the "house whisperer". Felix was flexible and prompt when it came to our scheduled appointment. Upon arriving he immediately oriented us to his process and then commenced to giving the home a deep and thorough examination. When questions or concerns arose he was encyclopedic with his knowledge and left no stone unturned. As first-time home buyers we were somewhat overwhelmed by the amount of detail. Felix was friendly and patient as he translated each element of the inspection. He helped us think through what should be prioritized when it comes to potential repairs. We left feeling like we knew exactly what we were getting with our new home and although he was affordable, you cannot put a price on the peace of mind that we both came away with. I would highly recommend Home Savvy home inspection to anyone whether buying or selling a home or if you just want to learn about your current residence in a deeper way.

Felix's wife Jackie managed to book us an inspection on short notice. On the day of the inspection, my wife and I got two walk-arounds - first with the gentleman from termite company, then with Felix. I learned a lot that day - not just about the house in question, but home maintenance in general. Despite spending the better part of an afternoon crawling under house or roasting on the roof, Felix took all of the time necessary to explain every important item on his list, as well as any questions I had. 2 days later I received the reports. Felix compiled 40 pages of detailed photographs, descriptions, and suggestions - even my dad couldn't believe the level of attention to detail. I think it was a very smart move to find a good inspector on my own (found him on angie's list), rather then take a recommendation from a realtor who's bias might lean towards simply getting the deal done. You pay for it either way...

Felix and his partner Jackie showed up exactly as scheduled. They did a team approach of inspection and collaborated with each other when necessary - for instance, when Felix was under the house, he was talking on the radio with Jackie and providing specifics so that she could note it down. They confirmed that attic insulation was in good shape and that roof was fine and did detect that a tape had come off the heat vent under the house and displaced it. This was the main reason why our house was getting cold. In addition, he also took digital pictures and alerted us about what other situations would need repair in the future. They cleaned up and left without taking too long and then sent a detailed report by email a few days later.

They were on time, four star professionalism,well dress', very informative and educated us through the entry inspection. Felix and Jackie are one of the brightness people we have ever met and would recommend their services to anyone looking to sell or buy a home. The three ring binder report was state of the art. The price was right and there were very responsiveness after the job was done. They are the very best at what they do.
