Fast Move Van Lines Inc

The experience was terrible. I do not recommend these movers under any circumstances. They are less expensive than more reputable providers but I learned my lesson and got what I paid for, so to speak. It started with the pickup when the foreman refused to transport certain items in my inventory unless they added extra packaging and cushioning to them for a substantial fee. I had to argue and negotiate with them on the spot for 1 hour before agreeing to pay an additional $230 on top of the already agreed amount of $1,300. Then you agree to 21 days for delivery which is 3 weeks. However the fine print reads 21 business days. Of course I ended up waiting far longer than expected for my delivery and every time I called their office, the woman who was responsible for my account was either sick, out of the office, or simply couldn't verify when the delivery would occur because no truck had yet been scheduled for my area. When my things finally did arrive, I was missing 2 boxes and was given someone else's box. Furthermore, extensive damage was done to my bed and several furniture items. They are from Ikea so I will likely just toss them out and buy new ones, but it's ironic that I had to pay all this money to get them across country only to toss them out and replace them anyways. This moving company is unorganized, unresponsive, and irresponsible.
