After a certified mold inspection affirming the extent of mold contamination in our home (with "toxic molds" like stachybotrys chartarum, aspergilus, etc..), discovering a fine print exclusion against mold in our insurance policy (TIP: ALWAYS read the fine print), and realizing we could ill-afford to get rid of our mold by "chasing" it piecemeal, we chose instead, to try their formulation/process with it's rapid delivery system (fog) to decontaminate our air ducts/HVAC system, and remediate mold throughout our whole house at one time. One thing that HAD concerned me about all this was that neither the fog (nor the smell of it), would make me, my husband, or my cat sick. (Ever since living as an artist in an industrial complex above platers, I've been super-sensitive to chemicals and/or their odors -they give me headaches, etc). So I asked for explanations and assurances and felt I got enough to proceed. I was told the ingredients are biogradable, less harmful than bleach, and after application, would pretty much disappear into nothingness within 24 hours. I WAS forewarned there would be a slight smell for "a couple of days" afterwards, but I must admit, my husband and I found the odor -though not overwhelming, a little "perfumey" /stronger than we anticipated, and it lasted a bit longer (before going away in full) than we thought too, otherwise, all went smoothly and worked like a charm. We just passed our 2 year anniversary of being mold-free (which is something they guarantee with their product/service. (There is an "invisible layer of protection" - also told to be harmless, so the first two years are free. Since we've fixed our leaks - part of the deal for them to do the job in the first place - and have taken every precaution to protect our from more water intrusion, we personally didn't feel the need for anything longer, but there is an option for a longer one, I think). This company started out in LA, but (obviously) expanded their services to Northern California, San Francisco, I found any employees I dealt with to be helpful and professional.
