Work Horse Construction and Masonry is an outstanding company. And Carlos, the owner, is absolutely wonderful to work with, as are the members of his crew. The work is meticulously completed. Carlos is a perfectionist who wants everything to be perfect when he is finished. He stopped the leaks in two stone fireplaces by repairing and replacing stone and roofing. When he left he said he had every confidence in the repair, and that proved to be true. And, I then hired him later to install a paver patio in my back yard. It looks beautiful. Again every detail was tended to, and the work site left perfect. His workers were a pleasure to work with also, responsible and skilled. His prices seem fair; I know he is honest, and he has a sincere desire to please his client. He's the real deal as far as contractors go.

Workhorse Construction &Masonry did a fantastic job on the complete remodel of a home in Rancho Bernardo. They removed a bearing wall to open the kitchen area to the living and dining areas. Then built a beautiful new kitchen with a giant island. They also remodeled both bathrooms, upgraded the fireplace area, and installed a new audio/video system. They were on-time, on-schedule, on-budget and very professional. They cleaned up every day and, provided a near daily report that kept me informed about progress. I was never concerned about whether my project was in good hands, I knew it was. I highly recommend Workhorse Construction and will hire them again for future projects.

Work Horse Construction remodeled an entire home (kitchen, living and dining room, bedroom and two whole bathrooms. Work was done professionally and promptly. Replaced a large slump brick wall in a tricky area with many utility boxes nearby. The work was done exactly as promised, on schedule, and with great attention to detail. The old wall footing was harder to remove than expected, but there was no extra charge. Also very good communication. Highly recommend.
