Came here after experiencing many issues with the big Home Improvement stores.  The level of professionalism, knowledge and helpfulness at Sid's was a breath of fresh air!  Jorge was our contact and made everything so easy and convenient for us. The flooring products themselves are a wonderful quality for the price we paid and the installers were great---quick, clean and professional.  Everyone showed up when they said they would.  Couldn't ask for a better experience!

The salesman was very helpful and thorough. He showed me the various options and the transaction went quickly and smoothly.

The carpet had to be special ordered and arrived on schedule. The installers arrived on time and finished the job quickly. I chose to dispose of the old carpet myself so they offered to cut it so that I could dispose of it more easily. A great job overall, I'm very pleased.

Service was actually provided by Sid's Carpet Barn on Miramar Road. Jim Grabowski was the contact person. He was prompt in his estimate and accurate on his pricing. He also had no problem in applying an Angie's list coupon for Sid's. The carpet installers called before arriving and were on time. A very good experience.

The salesman was super helpful. I knew what I wanted and he wasted no time in pointing me to the samples that met my requirements. He helped us to find the best combination of quality and price. Even though it was a small job they treated us no differently than anyone else.
We needed a somewhat quick turnaround on install and they took care of it no problem. We went in on a Saturday and the carpet was installed the next day and done.

First off, the installer was late and his work partner didn't show up.
The installer said the amount of carpet the estimate called for was wrong but he happened to have extra carpet on his truck. He said he could do it, but there would be so many cuts that it would look terrible and I would not be happy. He said to do it correct would be an extra $800.00. (By the way, this was told to me via my husband as I was at work)
As the original cost was about $2,300...thought adding the $800.00 was crazy, especially since we had already pulled out the old carpet, cleaned up the floor and prepared it for installation!
The sales person over the phone said my measurements were wrong....but I'm not completely sure that was correct as the installer never gave us a number for his measurement to compare it with.
I cancelled the order and had Home Depot do the job with similar carpet and pad for $2,100!!!! That was LESS than the original estimate that was given me.
From now on I'm going to Home Depot.

For the most part everything went very well. They were very friendly, helpful, and prompt with their service. My only issue is that we are slowly finding areas in the house where we will p**** our feed because part of the strip of nails is sticking through. Its only happened a few times and its annoying but not a huge issue. Overall I would say we were happy with everything.

Sids was my fourth stop in search of new flooring. Peter, salesperson was polite and very professional. He showed me a flooring new to me and gave me brochures to read. No pressure, just good info. I did my homework and decided to have this new tile installed. Peter sent Ernie, an estimator to my home. He too was very polite and professional. Installation was scheduled and performed at my covenience. Ernie and his crew were outstanding. The installation was done perfectly and fully met all my expectation. Highly recommend Sids for product, installation and price.

We went to Sid's at the beginning of April and chose our flooring and carpet to be installed. We let them know we needed it installed as soon as possible and by the end of the month at the very latest. We needed to be moved into the house a few days before May 1st because we needed the place we were moving out of ready for the new tenants by the 1st. After a week of not hearing anything from them I called to find out what was going on. I was told the flooring was in but we were waiting on the carpet and they said it was better to install the carpet first. We again mentioned our time limit and they assured us it wouldn't be a problem. They said they would check on the carpet and get back to us. They didn't. There were a couple times I called and left messages throughout the experience and didn't get calls back. We were eventually told they were waiting for the carpet from the factory. Finally around the third week of April we told them to start installing the hardwood floors despite still waiting on the carpet since we needed to get things rolling. They started installing the floors in the last week. The installers were nice and professional but showed up around 10am at the earliest. One day was more around noon and we were told they were instructed to measure another place first before coming to work on our floors. The carpets finally showed up on May 1st to be installed. We were already moved in but had everything, including our bed, in the living and dining room which was inconvenient and put us behind on working on our old place since we couldn't get our things out and into our new place in time. I love my floors and the carpet but I would not use or recommend Sid's carpet barn in the future. Oh, and when we complained about it we were told we would get a (very minimal) discount but I've yet to see any discount on what I owe and the floors are almost paid off.

Excellent experience. From ordering the carpet in the store to installation. Staff was very helpful and went out of their way to be sure things went well.

From our initial contact until the job was completed Sid's kept us in the loop. All the people from the salesman to the installers were very professional. They were very knowledgeable and answered our questions fully. Work was done in a timely manner, efficiently with a pleasant attitude. Another important trait was the neatness of the installers, which can be a challenge since we live in a condo complex

They lost the carpet sale

Marsha he sales rep and even though we paid a little more than expected her peronall=ity won us over.The crew was polite, respectful and made it a point not to rush their work which took approximately 1 hours.I have and will continue to reccommend Sid's Carpet Barn to friends and family.

A totally satisfactory experience from order taking to delivery and install.

Carpet and tile install are a very invasive process if you're staying the home during the whole process. It's a dirty and noisy process. Everything has to be moved- as though you are moving out of the house. All the workers were friendly and professional and worked very hard. The tile took three days and the carpet took 1 (very long) day.
