Clean Sweep Yard Care

We hired Clean Sweep in late August/early September of 2012, and just terminated our service with them. The service schedule was not clearly explained at the time service was initiated - our expectation was that we were paying $25 for a thirty minute visit once per week. When multiple weeks went by with no one appearing (despite our submitting payments for service), we inquired and Paul explained that in Nov and Feb they only come twice per month, and Dec and Jan once every twenty days. The rest of the year they come every week, supposedly (although that's not what we experienced in Sept and Oct). We definitely never received the expected number of visits per the explanation Paul gave us. When someone did come, it was one person, and all he ever did was mow our (very small) front yard and blow the front and back, and our yard really isn't that big. No weeding/weed-wacking, pruning, etc. We contacted Paul on multiple occasions, and despite his reassurances that he would give us "extra time" at the next visit to make up for what we weren't given in the past, that never happened (I work from home so I know when people are here, and how long they're here for). At least five weeks has gone by since our last visit, which is what prompted me to finally end the service. This is the first time I've ever "fired" a service provider; generally I am very accommodating and understanding. Needless to say I am very disappointed, and now need to start another search for someone to care for our yard.
