SPS Specialized Plumbing Services

I called into by warranty plan (Fidelity) the night before and was thrilled that SPS could fit me in so fast.  I was concerned having to go all weekend with a clogged kitchen sink.



Giovanni from SPS plumbing showed up on time.  He was very courteous and used a blanket to protect my floor.



The stoppage was far down the drainage line, so he had to snake it to remove the clog.  It was very educational and he shared some suggestions with me on how to prevent clogging in the future.



This was a claim through my home warranty plan, so the $60 was for the service call.  I asked what it would have cost without the warranty plan and he said $105, which I thought was very reasonable considering that it took him about 45 minutes to unclog the sink.



I can highly recommend them.

From the initial contact with the office to make an appointment to the repair, this company has treated us very professionally. Appreciate this plumbers manners, knowledge and workmanship.

3 days after a plumber supplied by our home warranty company cleared our sewer line, it clogged again.  My priority was to have a plumber come out same day and SPS was able to make it happen.  The tech was very methodical and professional.  He explained what he was doing and showed me on the video display the break in my line where roots had come in, creating the clog.  I like that the price I was quoted for this service was the price I paid.  The tech also patiently assisted me with a couple of other unrelated plumbing questions I had without charging extra. 
There was a bit of confusion in the scheduling of the follow up appointment, but the owner was willing to bend over backward to fit me in.  This was not necessary so we rescheduled, but the offer indicates the type of company he is striving to operate.  I was not present when the pipe repair work was done, but my wife indicated that the repair team was courteous professional and communicated what they were doing at each phase.  Again, we paid what we were quoted for the work and it appears to have been completed professionally.  I would definitely work with SPS again.

The guy that was sent out was wonderful.  He quickly was able to diagnose the gas leak from the kitchen range and repair it.  Several other contractors had looked at the same leak and all wanted to fix the same incorrect area.  I was so pleased with how prompt he was and the good customer service that I called them out again for the water heater issues.  He was able to quickly diagnose the issue again.  He noticed the improper installation that the old homeowner had done was actually a fire hazard and asked if he could turn off the water heater for my safety.  He had to do quite a bit of searching for one of the parts as it was not something easily bought.  Two days later he had managed to find the part and came back out to install everything.  He once again was prompt, very courteous & even re-lit the water heater for me.  I will be keeping their number handy in case I ever have any other plumbing issues.

Tony clearly knew what he was doing, he was courteous, he explained every step of the way and the cost was very reasonable. In fact, it ended up being less than what he had originally quoted. So overall I was very pleased with this company and will certainly use them again in the future. The only negative was that they had scheduled a 4 hour window the first time Tony came and he literally showed up after 3 hours and 45 minutes which is fair enough... But once we had scheduled the work, I was given a fixed time for him to return first thing in the morning. After waiting around for over an hour, I called the office and was told that there was again a 4 hour window for the Tony to come out which was a big problem, since I had already scheduled the drywall repair for the same afternoon which I ended up having to reschedule. So just expect to wait around for a while, but again - the overall service was great and the price was more than fair which are really the main reasons for choosing a plumber...

I thought his prices were very reasonable. He is very personable and friendly. He did a good job and it didn't take very long either. I was really happy with him and I would call him again. The price for the service was $89.00 but he had a coupon on Angie's List so it came out to $79.00. I would use him again in the future.
