The technician Cruz Carillo did a great job for us. He painted the metal pipe to match our house paint and also went out of his way to patch some stucco around our electric panel. After his work, our home passed the city inspection and we are ready to move forward with connecting our solar. Thanks Cruz!

This Freedom Solar customer gives two thumbs up! ([*** Link removed ***] in Murrieta CA) Freedom Solar contacted me when I was already thinking about rooftop Solar for our house in Foster City (San Francisco Area Peninsula). It has now been operating since early May 2017 (so this review is being written after a few weeks of operation) and the operation has been as expected so far (overproduction credit compared with my usage). The bottom line is that I am VERY pleased and give a high recommendation for Freedom Solar, especially their Fresno Office which handles the Bay Area. In my experience, it’s easy to handle a job that goes perfectly smoothly. However, the values of a company come through when there are bumps along the way. Like many home improvement projects, this one encountered a few bumps. For every step along the way, Freedom Solar did the right thing. They put the quality and results of the job first. Not only did they do the right thing, but they kept me in the communications loop as well … which is extremely important to me so that I don’t have to guess what’s happening and I also knew when things would happen (and they did). I am happy to give Freedom Solar a very high rating.

I learned early, in order to get comparative bids, I specified my system - Size (3.6 kW); 12 - LG 300W panels; 12 - Enphase® M250 inverters. I solicited 8 bids and considered the 3 most competitive. Due Dil on Angies List, Yelp, other consumer blogs & BBB. Freedom Solar was the most competitive, and held stellar ratings. Signed the contract, Chrissy (sales contact) walked me through every step & tempered my expectation on time frames for each step (more time than I expected). Calls, emails & texts were the sources of communication. Follow-up with other parts of the company were excellent, too. Signed contract/deposit beginning of Oct & Permission to Operate (PTO) from SDG&E end of December! Actually used upgraded panels (better panels than I called for) brought system to 3.72kW at no additional charge!! Crews were very helpful and answered all my questions. A great experience & I have recommended them to friends already.
