*BEWARE** After contacting the company directly and trying time and time again for this company to make things right here we are... This company is unprofessional and will leave you without water for up to a week. Family plumbing sent out Darrel to fix a small drip at my irrigation pressure valve. I showed Darrel where the drip was and what needed to be done. Once he “repaired” the valve that was dripping we waited 4 hours to turn on the water like we were told to do. Once the water came back on we had a big leak at a different location that was caused by Darrel leaning on the pipes. After he discovered the new leak he went to get parts and ended up working into the night “fixing” the new leak. Darrel then told us it would be an additional $300.00 to cover his extra time. I felt that was crazy given the leak was not there prior to him messing with the pipes l, but paid him in good faith that everything would be done correctly. I called them 3 times leaving messages and I was told I would be getting a call from Dino (which I still have not received a phone call back). The next morning another plumber Matt came out and informed us that Darrel had used an electrical coupling with standard white pvc pipe. Matt said the should have never used that and that the plumping that was done was a horrible job. Matt needed to gather the right materials to fix the mistakes that were made and he did a great job. (Wish he was sent originally). Although he did a great job and fixed all of the previous mistakes my front yard was never repaired, so we did it ourselves. I feel I should be refunded for the problems caused by your company and the lack of knowledge of your “plumber”.

They came out and did less then 2 hours of labor. I found out $250 an hour for plumbing is way too high. Also, the price of the materials should have been no more then $250. I called this plumbers office 9 times to try and get a hold of the manager. The receptionist that would answered the phone assured me the manager would call back the next day. They were on time and did good quality work. My issues is that they won't speak to my about why my bill is sow high. I just want a partial refund or an explanation on the charges.

I called them in the first place because they originally installed the water heater,  it was still under warranty (the tank only).  Was told they would be out between 1pm-3pm.  By 4pm no one showed so I called the office.  Was told there was still one customer ahead of me but tech was still coming out today.  By 8pm I called again and the tech on duty answered and said he didnt know anything about it & that we must have given them the wrong address!  He said he would put me on the list for first thing the next morning (and they did come first thing) but the tech was rude.  At that point I decided to call another company & just have them do it. This company goes by the name of Bercks.

This unit has a six-year tank and one-year parts warranty.

He quoted a price of $3500 to replace my unit and charged $98 for the service call. I was suspicious because he didn't look at the unit itself. I looked at reviews on Yelp. Someone else had the same experience with the same technician regarding their furnace. I had another company come out, based on Angie's list reviews. All that was needed was coolant.

They showed up on time, found the problem right away and fixed it. They were friendly, helpful and got the job done.

We had just moved into our home, did not belong to Angie's List, knew no one and had a dying A/C and furnace. We found Family Plumbing in the local phone book. The response was immediate; they were at our home within 2 hrs. Patrick surveyed the problems,
gave us an estimate and explained, in detail, what would take place. I was very pleased that Family Plumbing insisted on a permit from our city's building dept., saying in effect, "no permit, no work." I didn't have a problem as a permit protects the homeowner.
As I wanted all the duct work replaced and insulated as well as the highest efficiency rated furnace available, the price was on the high side.
The work performed was flawless. A 4 man crew worked 2 days to remove the old and install all new. When the A/C unit blew a fuse
within 5 days of being installed, Family Plumbing sent a tech to our home within an hour of our call. In fairness, the fuse was faulty
from the manufacturer and no fault of the installers.
All paperwork for federal and state rebates were filled out for us by Family Plumbing. A technician from Family was sent to our home to be present for the building inspector's final inspection and state inspectors to test the furnace's performance.

Family Plumbing fulfilled the terms of the contract but, more importantly, has stood behind their work. I would gladly recommend this company.
