Empire Construction services

I was very happy at first with the great design of my bedroom and bath remodel.  Then workers started this 2 month job with a bang.  And then things slowed down.  and slowed down?.. that this job  took 5 months to complete.  They would come and hammer and bang at 7 am and wake everyone up and be gone by 9:30.  They never worked past 2.  They ordered a window wrong and after 3 retries, they still cannot order the wrong window correctly.  Ii had to threaten not to pay them for them to come and finish the job.  They promised that since everything else is done (after my threats ), trust them to do the window.  The wrong window a YEAR later is still sitting my porch.  Constant calls got the lie of  'we will have it next week'
Finally they told me to stop calling and bugging them.  I have hired 2  other jobs since and would never use Empire  again because they cannot complete a job.  its too bad because their design team is great.

They did terrible work and I had to hire another plumbing company to fix what they messed up with my plumbing.

Work was o.k. but when final check was requested they said estimate included the 20% discount - none was included by discription in their estimate.  Price for the services were to  high without the advertised senior discount.

Jim gave us the most reasonable estimate and was very honest in what exactly needed to be done. He did not try to "overdo" the repair work.  He listened to us when we explained this was to repair only and not to make a whole new deck.  His workers came on time and did the work professionally. They were very friendly, and knowledgable. Their mess was cleaned up.  When I questioned part of the work, Jim made sure I was happy .  We plan on calling on Empire Construction again.
