The provider was very diligent in making sure the job was done right. The provider was very polite and even called to let me know he was running a few minutes late.

They did a great job. I had forgotten to tell them in the original quote I wanted the double cylinder deadbolt changed to a single cylinder deadbolt. He made the double cylinder as my new key for all the doors so it would save me money. In addition, the job was taxing because one of the doors was not hung properly, but he got the deadbolt to work. Last, one of the strike plates were missing and they did it for free.

The response to our request was quick and friendly from Rob.  Zack came out (even had to wait for me as I was stuck in traffic), and was great.  He is friendly and knowledgeable.  The price was the best by far.  Everything went so smoothly that I recommend everyone call Affordable Lock and Key to change their locks just to experience the pleasant efficiency.  Ha!

It was large job, because I have a lot of locks. He had good suggestions for master keys. (what to put on them and what not to put on them). He did all keys in my house, internal and external, including a gate and mailbox key.

I called Rob Zablow (the owner) in the afternoon of Monday, 1/5/2015.  He answered the phone and asked if this was an emergency.  When I said no, he arranged to come the next day at 10:00 AM.  He called that morning a few minutes before arriving to let me know he would be there soon.  He and his son Connor arrived right on time.  They figured out what needed to be done, explained it to us, and then left to pick up the locks and dooknobs they needed.  When they came back, they immediately started working.  Both were very friendly, professional, and efficient, and both love dogs and were very patient with my dog who wanted to play with them and lick them.  They completed the whole job (which included going to the store to buy the handleset and doorknob, replacing the handleset for the front door and the dooknob for the side door, rekeying both locks so we could use our old keys, and removing the latch mechanism for the gate leading to the back yard, drilling new holes, and reinstalling it) in just 90 minutes.  The total cost for this project was $244.00, which included the cost of the new handleset and dooknob, rekeying both locks, and labor.  This couldn't have been a better experience.

Rob called and said he could come earlier. I appreciated that. He rekeyed 3 locks and my mailbox. Even thought he has a special he said it would cost less to just price by the locks so he saved me money. He is very professional. While he was working I noticed a leak at the front of the house I just bought. Rob helped me shut the water off then contacted a plumber he knew. He called me 2 hrs later to make sure the plumber had contacted me and made sure everything was ok. He defines what customer service should be. I would highly recommend. Reasonable prices, professional and knowledgeable. What more could you ask for! He is awesome.

Rob was able to come out withing 1/2 hour of my call. He was friendly, courteous and professional. He gave me an estimate on the phone for the services I needed. He replaced a doorknob/lock that was broken, he rekeyed the new knob for the housekey. He rekeyed two other dead bolts and another doorknob. He had to work to adjust one deadbolt that was off-center. He was very pleasant and explained the actions he was taking. It was a good experience working with him.

I have previously used their services for my residential locksmith needs several times over the past five years and have been very pleased with their work. Rob is the owner and he has been excellent! His prices are also very reasonable. Rob also has an assistant, Jeremiah and he is a competent, excellent, and does great work. He is a good communicator and he is punctual to appointments. If on occasion he is running late, he is always good about calling and letting me know. Every time I have a locksmith need, I call Rob.

We just moved in to a new home and wanted all the locks rekeyed. I called Rob because he was close and rated well on Angie's List. I called and he was able to come to our house within an hour. Rob Zablow was very nice and professional; my dogs took to him right away, which is a sign of trust. I recommend him because I felt safe having him complete the work. He even suggested replacing the mailbox key, which I didn't know could be done. The old one was not working well and we weren't sure who had previous keys, so I was glad for the suggestion. Now all house keys respond to one key, and I no longer have to rattle the mailboxes to get my box open.

Rob was very easy to work with. We were able to schedule our appointment for the next day. He told me upfront of all costs and there were no surprises. He was on time for our appointment and was efficient with his work and provided great service. Would highly recommend Rob for any locksmith needs!
