Last week, the dryer wasn't working. We are a family of 4 including two teenagers. Laundry is crucial in our home. I called in the evening and Dustin came out the next morning. He was punctual, friendly and efficient. He had the dryer working and came back today to re-locate them. 
The doors to the appliances were opening into each other and they swapped them and now doing laundry is so much easier.
Would use them and recommend them again in a heartbeat.

When we moved in to our 1991 home, the new gas dryer wouldn't heat. A check of the manual indicated that there was probably a blocked vent. We contacted Abetter Vent Cleaning, and they came the same day. The technician discovered that the outside vent cap was jammed into the vent. With our permission, he cut the cap off. He cleaned the vents (clearly something the previous owners had neglected). He quoted a reasonable price for the vent cap repair, but we chose not to have it done that day.
We had him return last week to fix the outdoor vent cap. We were contacted to see if we wanted him to come a few days earlier than scheduled, so we had service earlier than expected. He had to cut into the stucco to remove the old, broken unit. His replacement and repair was completed quickly, and looks very neat. The dryer is now working and venting correctly.
Pros:
- They responded to phone calls quickly and professionally.
- The two times we've used their services, they've been on time and had all of the required tools and parts.
- The technicians performed the jobs efficiently.
- They clean up any mess, and leave the house as clean as it was when they arrived.

While they are probably not the least expensive vendor, they do the quoted work in a reasonable length of time for the quoted price.

I went online to Angies list and found the vendor.  I called them and they responded the same day.  They scheduled the appt, showed up on time and fixed the problem.  What I liked is that the service technician completely cleaned up after himeself.  There was dryer lint all over.  I'm not sure of the date of service.

After Alex the owner read my review and comments he actually called me and came to our home and gave us a check for the overcharge!  He was super nice and explained we were charged twice on an item which I believed was the case too.  He did an inspection and said our fireplace was good.  He did mention a crack in the sealer on roof which first person did not but said because we had a stainless steel liner we were fine. He is resending invoice with comments and pictures and I feel much better about this company then I did before.

I just had Dustin out for my winter maintenance on the fireplaces and chimney and couldn't be more appreciative.  I first found Abetter Vent Cleaning in the spring to clean all the ducting and vents in my home.  Dustin is on time, professional, experienced, and doesn't even mind me following him around and asking questions.  Setting up the appointment was easy and he was out here within a couple days of my call.  Dustin has gone the extra mile both times he has been to my home - from lighting the pilot light on a gas fireplace, to replacing an old dryer vent flex line, to climbing on the roof and reattaching a vent hood.  I highly recommend Abetter Vent Cleaning and thank the guys for all of their hard work.

They spent a lot of time cleaning them, and they got a lot of dirt and dust out.

He was prompt. He came in and did the job really quickly. He did a thorough examination for chimney cleaning. He made observations on what other issues we may need to address. He was very good. He was courteous and very informative about the process. We have him scheduled to come back to the new house.

I spoke with Abetter's manager, Alex, to get pricing and to make an appointment. Alex was very courteous and professional; he set up an appointment for me and told me that his technician, Dustin, would be performing the duct cleaning service. Dustin called me ahead of time to confirm the appointment and ensure that I'd be home. He showed up along with another technician, Jordan, to clean out my dryer duct. The service included vacuuming the area behind and underneath my dryer. Dustin used a fiber-optic camera to inspect the ductwork after the cleaning. These guys have great customer service skills and did a thorough job. I highly recommend Abetter Vent Cleaning's services.

I'm very meticulous but also cheap so I spent a lot of time researching companies that provided this service, I was moving into a house that had a cat and being allergic wanted to ensure my heating and A/C system wasn't going to bother me.  After my initial call to Alex I was concerned with the pricing ($30 per vent, $139 each for dryer vent and fireplace).  After talking to a couple other companies I called Alex back to ask why he was more expensive.  When he explained his process to me I understood. The other companies explained that they would conduct a reverse air suctioning on the system and that seemed to be about it.  Some of their services cost as little as $49 for the whole house (minus the fireplace).  I committed to hiring Alex and because I was using all of the services he deducted 50% off the dryer and fireplace (bringing it to about $70 for each).  Alex removes every single vent cover in the house, cleans and sanitizes it, does the commercial reverse suctioning on the entire system, then goes on to clean the furnace in the attic, run a rotating bristle brush with a 65 foot reach into all of the ducts, then sanitizes the entire system with an eco-friendly cleaner.  He did a similar bristle cleaning to the fireplace.  He clearly didn't take any shortcuts either because it took him 4 hours to complete the job with a helper.  Overall I was extremely pleased with the cleaning.

He came on time, was presentable, fixed our problem, had a professional billing system, cleaned up after himself, and gave us safety tips and information to help us run our dryer better.

I would definitely recommend him again, and I will be calling him again next year to clean our dryer vent.
