I was under the impression that there was just one guy who ran the company and did all the cleanings. It turned out another "contractor" came to appraise my situation and do the work himself. Of course, he said ALL my ducts were REALLY BAD and needed cleaning. Maybe they did. That was why I called. However he tracked black soot all over my carpet (blaming it on the dirt in my chimney getting on his shoes---well, duh). I had also asked him to switch two of the vent ducts from room to room. When he didn't do this, and I asked him again, he said they didn't do that for free---and wanted an EXTRA $10 on top of the $500+ I was spending.

After we purchased our house we wanted the chimney cleaned to make sure everything was safe to use. They cleaned the chimney and checked everything to make sure it was in safe operating condition. During our conversation I told them we were going to get gas logs for it. They told me they also did that. I asked when they could do it. He went back to the shop after the cleaning, got the logs and installed them the same day.
