The One Move

Setting up the service was fairly easy. Great communication by Josh. The three guys sent to move the items in our home were very nice. One was the "leader" and instructed the other two on what to do and where to go and what to wrap/move first. We purchased furniture pads ahead of time since our stuff will be in storage for about a year. They were able to wrap the items with our blankets to protect them in the long term. I thought that $10/shrink wrap was expensive until i saw them wrap the items. They really wrap them well. All of our stuff arrived to storage in one piece. They offer a 5% discount if paying in cash, however, we found out that cost is deducted from the "service." Meaning it's out of the mover's pockets. I would've paid by credit if I knew that ahead of time. These guys deserved the full amount for their work. Overall we were please and glad to not have to move it all ourselves. We'll probably use them again when we move into the next home.

Service was good, but price was higher than expected.

It went well, non stop packing and loading, an all day event.

The movers came in ahead of the promised time which was good for us. They were fast and efficient and took care in packing our furniture. We had a lot of glass furniture for which they were charging a lot, so we had already moved that ourselves. We asked them to move a large glass top table for which they charged $50 extra. The entire move was done in under 5 hours and none of our furniture, walls or doors were damaged. We were very happy with the movers and the overall move experience.

They were thorough, professional and a life saver!

The Movers came on time.They were about 5 in number. Strong guys for sure.
No time was wasted and they immediately started wrapping the boxes and stuff.
They did a great job of wrapping really delicate stuff like Glass tops and Television set. Also the super heavy stuff like Sofa and Bed
was wrapped in a really professional manner.
After that they were quick to move the stuff from our old place to the new place with there big moving truck. Unloading was done quickly and all the heavy and delicate stuff was moved up one floor really well.
only issue was we had to wait because the apartment had to have a move-in inspection. We wasted some time but not the movers fault.
We did end up paying extra for the extra half an hour it took .
Over all the items were safely moved. We did not see any cracks or bad surprised show up in any of our items

Overall excellent experience. Talked with Ron over the phone (customer service) about a month before the move. He estimated $1000 and 7 hours for a 3 bedroom move. I stressed to him how much furniture we had, and he said it should be o.k. It ended up taking longer, and costing more - and they had to make 2 trips in the truck! But it was fine.
I was given a window of 2 hours (8-10am) for them to show. They called at 7:30am and showed up just about 30 mins. later. 3 guys - ready to work. We were just about all packed up :) The lead (can't remember his name now!), walked through the house making notes and listening to directions. They gave me 10 wardrobe boxes to use for the day (VERY helpful!). They were amazing. They wrapped furniture, crated my mirror and china cabinet (upon my request), and were very efficient. We have a lot of stuff - and they ended up having to make 2 trips to the house - but it worked out o.k. It took over 9 hours, but again, they were quick and careful, so it was fine.
The only 'complaint' I have is that towards the end, they were just unloading boxes and putting them wherever - not paying attention to the clearly labeled tops/sides. So, I have garage boxes in the middle of my kitchen, and bathroom boxes in my son's room - but that's fine. They were patient while I had to make a quick decision on the placement of the china cabinet (crazy heavy piece!), and disassembled and assembled our beds, tables, etc. They even put the bedskirts back on the beds before putting the mattresses on! These folks were recommended to me by some good friends, and we'd definitely recommend them to others. I've never used a professional mover, so I don't know if this is 'reasonable,' but was very willing to pay!
