RSP was recommended to us by Cosmos Roofing because we wanted to add skylights to our house before we had the roof replaced.  Ron came out and gave us a quote (the skylights were in an odd place).  We got a couple of comps and his quote was competitive, so we picked him.
The coordination with the roofers was great.  Ron and his crew did excellent work, and were considerate of us and careful to keep the house as clean as possible during the work.  The work was done well, and on time.  They did exactly what they said they would do.  When problems arose (surprise wiring in that part of the ceiling) they quickly got an electrician in to re-route wires out of the way.   They dealt with all the permitting and inspection issues during the work and the final inspection.  The sheetrock work was done well and quickly after the skylights were installed.  And we're very pleased with the results.

Overall, it didn't go well at all. We had clashes with the owner almost from the beginning. He made a ton of promises that he never kept, including giving us a schedule for the work to be done. He hired a particularly bad subcontractor who was nothing but trouble and then was out of town while he was working. The project manager he hired to oversee the project was largely incapable of staying on top of things. But far more important were the gross errors he made in our project. These included not compensating for the fact that the exterior drywall used was 3/8 inch instead of 1/2 inch, and there were at least a couple of times it could have been corrected. And this was even after I had 2 discussions with him about the thickness of the drywall we were going to use. It should have been obvious to an experienced contractor, but he totally missed the boat. He also did a horrible job making sure the floors where level. So now we have a house with very uneven floors and in place, what essentially amounts to a ramp in the living room. Not good. He will only blame the previous contractor. But RSP was hired to address exactly these problems, and they failed miserably. Furthermore, his project management skills are abysmal.
