Perfect. Jim was very easy to deal with: very professional and followed through with all.

Unfortunately, my wife and I each had underground parking garage poles get in our way within a few months of one another! The good news is that we found Independence Auto after many years of using bigger places and not being totally satisfied. Jim Tidwell, the owner of Independence, is very professional and very easy to deal with. He and his two person crew did a fabulous job on both of our Hondas, restoring them to "like new" and even dashing us a small bottle of touch-up paint to take home. The price seemed very reasonable for both cars. Promises were kept and they even washed and cleaned our cars, inside and out, before we picked them up. Couldn't ask for a better place.

Perfect. Jim Tidwell, the owner, was very easy to deal with. His estimate turned out to be the final price. The quality of the work was excellent and the car was ready on time as promised.

I had a deep gouge along the narrow apron that runs below the passenger side doors. Jim explained the various options in detail so I could make a good decision. The work was done on time and entirely to my satisfaction. In addition the entire car had been cleaned before it was returned to me. Jim also then pointed out a problem with my paint in a different location on the car (apparently it had been and quot;fixedand quot; while still new and the over-spray had not been buffed so it felt a bit rough.) He suggested I bring it back the next day for an hour and he would have his painter try to buff it smooth (at no extra charge). He was unable to get it as smooth as the finish should be (although substantially better than it had been) and told me where I could take it to get the final work done. Overall, the work was excellent, Jim was extremely professional, and he went beyond what he had contracted to do but did not charge me for the extra. I was very pleased with Independence Auto Body.

Jim was very professional and informative. His explanation and estimate was very detailed. I felt good leaving my car with him and so pleased with the result.

I was so impressed with Independence Auto Body and Jim TIdwell. A friend recommended him when I was looking for a body shop to repair the dent - I did not feel at all comfortable with another body shop I had talked to. In comparison, Jim was thorough and professional. He laid out the options, and dealt with the insurance company and appraiser. Communications were excellent. He did a beautiful job - you would never know there had been any damage. I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone who needs auto bodywork done.

Even though we didn't proceed Jim Tidwell was helpful in laying out the options. I have complete confidence in referring Independence to others and would definitely go there again if needed.

Vehicle was ready on-time as promised and actualy $10 under the estimate because he could re-use some fasteners he initialy thought he might have to replace.
Vehicle was delivered completely cleaned and looked like new. And in the time-frame expected. Perfect job.
Price was very reasonable, I had expected a lot more. When initialy making up the estimate, I was given the choice of a genuine Toyota replacement (we're talking a piece of shaped sheet-metal) or an and quot;aftermarketand quot; alternative vendor who I was assured provided just as good a product for quite a bit less money. I opted for the less expensive choice and indeed can detect no difference.
Very pleased with the level of professionalism, prepared to discuss options and concerns with me the customer, delighted with the quality of work delivered, on time and within budget.
Yes I would absolutely go there again.

The end result was first rate; you'd never know anything had happened.I thought the cost was very reasonable; it was about the same as Magnussen a block away but included a couple of damaged areas I hadn't noticed the first time and weren't included in Magnussen's estimate.
