After receiving an oral estimate of $6000 and asked if it was acceptable I thought was fair and accepted, I should have asked for a detailed description of what the work entailed before I accepted, since after I accepted the price I was asked if I wanted to keep the old gutters or replace them and if I wanted the Metal roof installed over plywood sheeting. I did opt for new gutters which added $500 and of course I wanted plywood sheeting to support the Metal Shakes. I felt the original estimate should have included the plywood sheeting since we discussed how many sheets of plywood it would take. Furthermore we inspected the roof and I indicated that the gap in the valley on the old metal roof was not as wide as it should be and and I was assured they would leave a larger gap. Although the workers were very good, there was poor communication between the boss and the workers and the valley's were done more poorly than the original Metal work on the back half! I feel the company does not have the proper metal working tools and experience on metal roofs! The Contractor who did the back half had proper tools for cutting and bending the Metal Shakes. Cardinal Roofing did not have these tools and should acquire them if they plan to do Metal Roofs! I was also not happy theta the Aluminum Gutters were fitted with a Galvanized downspout rather than using an Aluminum Downspout section which is available!

They were very good and very pleasant. Everything went the way we expected.

Service was excellent and service person extremely courteous and experienced. The service was for my father who was in his eighties and lived alone. I was concerned that honest, fair, and professional service be provided since I did not live with my father and worried that he might not have a good/overly costly repair/remodeling experience. I found Cardinal Roofing Company to be extremely trustworthy with a high level of expertise and quality. Repairs went quickly and on time and cost was very reasonable. I would highly recommend them.
