I called Peter on Tuesday and explained the problem with my 46-inch Samsung TV. The TV would click but did not turn on. I asked if he could come out the following Saturday. He agreed and arrived by about 10am. He took off the back of my TV and saw that the capacitors were shot. He suggested replacing the main board rather than individual capacitors. I agreed and fortunately he had a spare board. He quickly replaced the board and back of TV and verified that the TV started successfully. Peter provides a 90-day warranty on the parts. I am completely satisfied with his service and recommend him to others.

I couldn't be more pleased with the service provided by Peter Moon. . He arrived on time and in very short order diagnosed the problem with two HDMI ports on my Samsung LCD TV. He reconfigured the system making sure I understood what he was doing and when he left, I had a very good of how to use current and future additional devices. This is the first time I have used Angie's List and I am a totally satisfied customer of Angie's List and Awake TV!

This is the second time I've called on Peter from Awake TV. The first time, he saved me a bundle by catching a significant problem and got the work covered under the warranty. Plus he helped correct a configuration problem that another TV service company wanted to charge me big bucks to correct, but their diagnosis was off and it was the wrong problem. Most recently, my TV just died. Not only did he find a way to save me money by using rebuilt parts, but he also gave me a very nice loaner while he fixed my TV. Fast, professional, and good prices. I would recommend Peter Moon without reservation.

After seeing TV, Peter said he had seen this problem but he not had good success rate fixing it in the past. Asked if I wanted to try or not for $290 (including initial $50 service call). Since a new TV is $2k I said I would try. Spoke to him a few days later and he had disassembled/reassembled TV and replaced a board. Problem was gone and he was testing it in various states (hot, cold, etc.) because the problem had been intermittent. Good communication on phone and answers phone right away. A couple days later he was satisfied the problem was gone, and dropped off the TV. It has been great since. Very happy, would use them again.

We were having difficulty getting anyone to service our Polaroid TV. The TV shutoff would not work from the remote or directly from the set itself. There was a small part within a larger component that might resolve the issue. Otherwise, the entire component would need to be replaced. Peter was very honest with us from the start about the timeframe. He finally obtained the part in Canada. Unfortunately, it didn't resolve the problem. Peter replaced the entire component and all is well. I appreciated his attempts to keep the cost down. He kept me informed about his progress at all times and accommodated my schedule for pick up and delivery.

The repair person came to our house the same afternoon that I called and determined that the problem was probably one of the three processor boards. He scheduled a time to return in order to remove them and figure out which one of the three was the problem. At this point he gave me the price for each of the three boards and let me know how long it would take to have the replacement for the malfunctioning one shipped. Once it was determined which unit was broken he called to let me know and then ordered a new one. After it arrived, he promptly replaced it and the TV has been fine ever since.

He came promptly when I called. He made a preliminary diagnosis of the problem. (The TV would not turn on). He took the TV back to his shop and called a day later with his final diagnosis (which confirmed his preliminary) and gave me an estimate for repair. He told me that he had to order the replacement power supply and it would take several days. I gave him the go ahead and he returned the TV in about a week and reinstalled it.

Peter came out the same day of the call. Looked at the TV, discovered the problem. He removed the circuit board and took it home to work on it. He spent several hours trying to fix it but decided it was best to put in a new one. He picked up a new circuit board, came out the next day and replaced it. The TV is working great. This is a very high end TV. Mitsubishi WS-65905, 65" screen. My only complaint is that he tried to fix it and we had to pay for labor. Then he realized it could not be fixed and we had to pay for a new circuit board all together.
