The shop and the waiting room are clean. Free wireless.
It's a convenient location near downtown so I will use them again for vehicle maintenance and repair.

A few weeks ago, my husband and purchased a used truck. It started to surge while driving then it would not start, at all. We had it towed to Tireworks. Thank Goodness for Mick and Michelle! They were so kind and so helpful. When the truck got to the Tireworks, it worked fine - started and ran beautifully. Mick kept looking for the problem. He listened to me and test drove the truck for a second and third time,then the surging started. He quickly fixed the problem. I really appreciated that he explained what was wrong, told me what he did to repair the truck and showed me the old parts. The repair cost was reasonable. My husband and I plan to take all our family's cars to Tirewoks for service.

We were out shopping for tires and we had been to two places in Morro Bay.My husband and I were talking about going to slo to look for tires and just before we left town we stopped at TIREWORKS and from the when we walked in until we left it was a good experience. The man and woman we were dealing with were very direct in answering questions and spent time giving us all the info and pricing, never once pressuring us to buy. Their prices were cheaper for the same tires and after deciding to buy the tires we were surprised at how fast they installed them. The price we were Quoted was what we paid.
They also stressed that rotating the tires every 5,000 miles and rotating and re-balancing them at 10,000 miles would make the tires last longer and that care after we bought them was free.

I put on the spare tire that came with our car - the small kind you are only supposed to drive to the nearest repair station. The next town on our way home, Cambria, didn't have an auto repair place open until Monday. So, I drove on into Morro Bay thinking we might not find any repair place open on Sunday. Soon after we got into Morro Bay I spotted a tire repair place, Tireworks, that was open. A man, who looked like he might work there, walked up to the car and asked us if we needed help. I told him that I had a flat that needed fixing and showed him the piece of metal in the tire I thought had caused a puncture. He told me that that was probably the reason and told me that he would check it out and asked me if I wanted to watch or sit in the waiting room. I decided to unload the back of my car while he worked at the flat. He confirmed that the metal had caused the flat and told me that it would be $22.50 total to fix which included labor, patch, balance, and other materials. He added that the type of patch he was putting on it would not cancel the warranty on the tire. I told him to "go for it". He mounted the fixed tire about 15 minutes later. He showed me in his repair book that the sensor light for a flat tire stayed on for a few minutes after the tire was fixed, but sometimes it had to be manually reset. He suggested that I drive about a mile and check to see if it went off. If not, he said to bring it back to him and he would fix it for no additional charge. Luckily, the sensor light went off after a few blocks, and we happily went on our way home.
