Rogall Painting

Randy and his team did an awesome job painting the interior of my house... and... George did an great job installing a new back door and new screen door for me, which entailed redoing the door frame. They were always on time, and very courteous. The jobs were both completed on schedule. I could tell that they took pride in their work, and that it was very important to them that I was happy with the results, which I am!

Every Rogall employee was professional, from the owner to the guys who did the painting. Every question was answered and every concern was dealt with. At the end of each day, it was hard to tell anyone had even been at the house because both teams were so good at cleaning up the area. Both the interior and exterior look wonderful. We would definitely hire them again.

Yes, this firm will charge more than many other painters/carpenters in the Estero Bay area. But their care and expertise earn every penny. Not only did they install and paint the siding, but they used screws to attach the siding, counter-sunk every screw, and filled the holes with putty before painting.

The staff at Rogall is very professional. Juan, who did all the prep work was very conscientious and kept the construction debris to a minimum. After installation we discovered that several doors had over spray on them.  We contacted the office, and the next day the owner Steve Rogall came to our home . He personally inspected the doors and even sent back 2 others we hadn't noticed. Steve is very involved with the customers satisfaction. When they brought the doors back they looked great. Rogall was slightly higher for their bid, but you get what you pay for. The end product was beautiful and their customer service is great.

The staff at Rogall Painting were very professional. Juan who performed all the prep work was very conscientious, and kept the construction site debris at a minimum. We were unable to be there everyday, and felt comfortable enough with Juan to leave him a key. After the installation of our doors, we noticed that several doors had overspray on them. We contacted the office, and the next day Steve Rogall himself came to our home. He inspected the doors and found two others that did not meet his high standards. He was very concerned with customer satisfaction and quality of his work. When the doors came back from his shop they looked great. The prices at Rogall Painting were higher than other bids we received, but you get what you pay for.  Our cabinets look great.

Painter was prompt and came at pre-arranged time. Worked efficiently and quietly throughout entire house, cleaning up after each location. Using black paint made me a little nervous but he was very conscientous and I found no residual paint.
This is the third time we have used Rogall Painting and would highly recommend them to anyone. We have used them for re-finishing our cabinets and woodwork throughout our house from a golden oak color to a darker shade, painting the exterior of the stucco house and the interior doors.
The bid is always very thorough and professionally prepared. The workers are clean, professional and conscientous.

The last thing to do on our list of preparing for the arrival of my grandson was painting the nursery. With a jungle theme in mind we wanted to select the right color of green, so that the room would be bright and cheery. Dale, our estimator, met with us and was able to show us many choices. Narrowing the selection down to the perfect shade of green was easy with his experience and helpful advice. Our painter prepared the room and painted in adequate time. We were so pleased with our experience with Rogall Painting. They made the whole experience of planning and painting my grandson's nursery enjoyable and easy!

Looking for a dependable, quality contractor can be such a difficult task. When we decided to re-do the exterior and interior paint colors of our home, we really wanted to find someone who was passionate about what they do and cared about their clients' wants and needs. Also someone who could give us the advice and information we needed as neither one of us know much about paints. Upon our first meeting with Steven, we could tell right away he was dedicated and very knowledgeable in the world of paints and took the time and care to go over every question we had in great detail. We decided to go with Steven Rogall Painting and could not be happier with our decision! The crew was courteous, professional, and TIMELY and took great care with our home! We absolutely LOVE the outcome and will definitely look to them in the future for any of our painting needs!!

My husband and I called Steven Rogall painting as soon as our newly constructed stair rail was ready to be stained. Steven gave us outstanding service from our original consultation to the follow up appointment where he made sure we were satisfied with his work. Our stair rail looks gorgeous! We were impressed with Steven's dedication to finishing the job in a timely manner without compromising his quality of work. We are excited to have him paint the exterior of our home in the spring!

Once we signed the contract, work began as scheduled. The painters worked hard and seemed to have pride in their workmanship, sometimes working long days and weekends. However, on the second to the last day, the Steven Rogall himself dropped by for the first time and was very upset that the job was taking so long. We expected that it would take several more days to complete with a full crew. Instead, we watched the workers wrap up the job in one day according to Mr. Rogall's instructions. We were very worried about this and very much concerned that short cuts were being taken. We tried to talk to Mr. Rogall, but he was not willing to discuss this with us and pointed out that he was the expert on pa and not us.







In three months, the paint on the header boards began to bubble and peal, In six months it was clear that the paint job had failed. Therefore we called Mr. Rogall himself. He came out to inspect the house and said that he would send a crew out in the fall, as they did not want to work in the Summer heat. We kept in regular contact with Mr. Rogall finally insisting that the repairs be made under the warranty in October before the Winter rains. Mr. Rogall finally came out to the house and offered to do the repairs if we paid them a discounted hourly rate. He would not honor the warranty or the guarantee of 100% customer satisfaction. At this time we discovered that the wrong filler material was used on the header boards, the original contract indicated that they would sand problem areas down to sound wood. We subsequently discovered that the wrong type of paint was used on the entire house. We contacted the BBB which was a waist of time. We discovered that a BBB rating is worthless. We also contacted the State of California license board. We consulted an attorney and prepared to file suit against Mr. Rogall.







Instead, we reached an agreement that we would pay the hourly rate with a cap on total labor costs and on total material costs. The cost of litigation and the likelihood of ever collecting on our settlement outweighed the amount we would pay Mr. Rogall under the agreement that we reached. A date was set for the work to begin and the workers arrived finally arrived and completed the job just before the first showers.







Steven Rogall painting did not live up to it's advertised guarantee of 100% customer satisfaction and would not honor the written warranty for labor and workmanship that we were given in our initial contract, even though the pain job failed within 3 to 6 mont

I have worked in and around their projects several times and they do nice work once its completed but they dont usually hit their deadlines and attention to detail could be better in the process. Their communication with coordinating trades makes it hard to work around them as you cant always tell when they are coming and going. The guys all seem professional and skilled.

To complete the job required too many touch up trips for items that should have already been addressed. We were promised two coats of paint on the doors but received one coat of primer and one finish coat. The finish on the doors was substandard until they put on another coat of paint. There was not enough scraping and sanding on certain areas and had to be redone. The touch up paint provided did not match. The end result was decent but required too much follow up.

Excellent in every way. The staff was professional and courteous. The house looked wonderful when it was done. We would definitely use them again.
