Joe Young Construction

Joe was very easy to work with, and did excellent work. His prices were very reasonable, and he often threw in things at no extra cost, which was wonderful! One of the things that I really appreciated was that he responded back to me promptly whenever I texted him. True to any business, there were times when unexpected things came up and he had to postpone work that he had planned to be doing for me on a certain day, but he always communicated these issues to me, and when I had something that really needed to be done right away (such as getting the plumbing to the washing machine fixed on a weekend) he found a way to make it happen. I will definitely be hiring Joe to do work for me again in the future.

Joe Young is an excellent, highly skilled contractor who places the customers desires at the top of the list. He is skilled in all facets or remodeling and has transformed our home. He is personable and reliable and makes you feel very comfortable as he works in your home. He is worthy of trust and I highly recommend him.

Joe is punctual, courteous, professional, and fair. He referred us to an associate who installed the necessary roof vents for our attic fan.

This is the third project that Joe has done. When he is working and see something that is wrong or off, he will correct it, even if he did not initially do the job. This happened when he installed new faucets. The person before him had installed wrong which caused a leak under neath. The current job was done well. He even went back to hardware store to purchase a secure lock for side garage door so that all keys would match because I decided that I wanted a new door on the side; so he will be back in a week to install it.

Joe did a great job on several sections of interior drywall in the house and garage and redwood fence rebuild. Making the house ready to sell.  He was on time, professional and reasonably priced. After the initial estimate, I noticed some additional work on my walk throughs. He took these changes in stride, adjusted the price accordingly and I would hire Joe again! Thanks for all the hard work Joe.

another so-called expert told me I needed at least one new door and lock.  This was after at least 2 hours of effort. The other doors he never got around to look at.  Joe Young fixed all of them in about one  hour. Great job!

Joe met me at the home and did an evaluation of the job.  He then emailed me a detailed proposal, indicating materials, type of wood for the repair, material costs and a separate time/labor cost.  His pricing was fair and he responded quickly.  I contacted him to approve the bid and he started the work as promised, about a week later.  He came to the job early in the day and worked diligently for about 2.5 days until the project was done.  He was polite, clean, and did a wonderful job.  I could not be more pleased and will certainly use him again!  He also referred a painter to me to finish the project and he was also an excellent professional.

Showed up on time, stayed on budget, did great work.  No complaints and I will use him again.

Joe is a general contractor who not only enjoys doing big remodels, but also smaller jobs that many other contractors will not do--my jobs fell in the latter group. 
He was friendly, professional and honest. In addition, he was efficient and conscientious about my time and expenses. He worked around my work schedule, and was willing to come after I got home from work and on weekends.  He charged me for materials at his cost stating, ?If I give it to you at my cost, you can get nicer things for your home?, and he submitted copies of receipts with his bill. On the first visit he listened to the projects I needed completed, explained how he would do them, and the amount of time it would take to complete them.  When he arrived each time he stated what he planned to work on and the materials he would use. Joe was very good about explaining what he was doing, and why he was doing it a certain way. Joe is knowledgeable and skilled, as well as creative.
I also have some electrical projects, deck work, painting, and gutter work, and I look forward to having him do this work.

Joe was always punctual, professional, polite, easy to work with, reasonably priced and quick.
