Centaur Roofing

Centaur roofing installed a roof on my primary residence located in Templeton, CA 93465 during the 2nd and 3rd week of October 2008. Centaur roofing was paid immediately upon completion of project. It rained two weeks later and leaked inside my house in many places, at least 5-10 different water penetrations into my home. Centaur roofing was called right away and advised his job failed. Nikolaus Balzer the sole proprietor came back over and spread some sealant on a few seams were two sheets of roll roofing meet, and then said we were all set and everything was fixed properly. Not long after he ?repaired? his job failure it rained again and leaked again with no improvement all of the same spots were leaking. He kept stating that ?this is so weird I did everything perfect I don?t know how it could be leaking? and ?there must be a failure in the roofing material?. Then we called a manufacture rep from Certainteed Christopher Lomax, he was able to come and inspect our job. He came and inspected the job and assured me and my wife that there was no failure in his product and the roll roofing was not installed properly. In his words ?the edges where the roofing material meets the flashing needs to be bonded with a smaller more precise jewelers torch to be done properly?. During this review of the job nikolaus was present and had discounted and disagreed with chris?s recommendations on how to properly fix the leaks. Chris was not willing to make a judgement and say this roof failed due to poor workmanship but he said there was no failure in the material he reps and as far as I can tell the only thing left is workmanship. To the best of my knowledge the recommended method of repair was not followed when we gave nick another chance to repair the leaking roof he just installed. Nick then wanted more money to spend on labor and materials to repair the roof and we declined because we were not confident that this would actually get us a fixed roof. When the roof leaked the water damaged newly installed insulation and forced us to delay other sub contractors inline to install drywall. The total delay was over 30 days the last week in October and all of November 2008. I took several pictures of the damage and can provide copies
