Barry is very professional.  He was able to come inspect our house within about a week after I called him, and he had good communication throughout the process.  His inspection report was complete and fairly presented, with lots of useful photos and a useful repair checklist.  This report was very useful to us in connection with the sale of our house.  Barry Stone is the best known home inspector in SLO County and has a stellar reputation for thoroughness, so the buyers relied on his report and did not order any further inspections.  His price seems expensive for a home inspection, but I did not shop around because I knew his report would not be questioned by any real estate agent.

He saved me money on our roof because he suggested that we contact the initial supplier on the shingles because they were guaranteed. I corrected electrical things he suggested and got a new garage door based on his recommendation. He is the best.
