CDS did a nice job on the entire project and we are very pleased with the appearance of the lights and the ceiling.

I had water pipe leak in the ceiling which damaged the ceiling dry wall. I called few people from Angies list for estimate. I got call back within few hours after I left message to CDS. They gave time to come and look at the damaged wall and gave estimate. Approximate wall size about 4ft by 5 ft. They removed the old dry wall which was warped and had holes created by plumber. They came right at given time. Completed the job within estimated 4 hours time. They cleaned up after the work. The texture on the wall they matched quite close to original. If I look very carefully I can tell there is the joint. They did not agree to do paining after the wall fix. So I had to bring someone else to paint. After paining I cannot tell where is the new dry wall joint. All in all I am happy the way they did the job.

Steve came out and gave be a good bid for the job. We were remodeling a bathroom. Some drywall was new, and some existing. I hired them to re-mud the whole room and texture it all. We also had a couple holes in another bathroom that needed to be repaired and re-textured to match. I got a good feel from Steve, and his price was good, so I hired him. Steve didn't do the actual work, though. He had another guy come out (I believe his name was Craig) to do the actual work. It was to take two partial days - one to tape/mud, and the other to spray on the texture. Overall, the quality was good, except that there was one issue. He didn't texture far back enough on the left and right sides where the wall-to-wall vanity was. The vanity was already in place, but we had left off the edge filler pieces, so that it could be textured. The old vanity was an inch or so deeper than the new on, and he only cleaned/mudded/textured up to where the old vanity had been, leaving an ugly line about 1" in front of the front of the vanity. He said that he didn't think it would show, and that there was nothing he could do at that point anyway, since the texturing was wet, but that if it did show to call back and they'd fix it. Later that evening, I held up a credit card to the edge of the vanity, and it was obvious that the ugly line WOULD show, so I left a voicemail on Steve's cell phone explaining the situation. Steve called me back the same evening, and told me that Craig would be back out the next morning to fix it. He did show up the next morning. He scraped off the ugly line. He then sprayed on texturing from a spray can, rather than the machine that he had used for the rest of the walls, and it didn't really match. Now that it's all painted, it's not all that noticeable unless you're looking for it, but I'll always know, and it would have been nice if he had just textured in a few more inches the first time.

We hung the drywall and did the mudding/taping ourselves so we had some bad things we need to cover up. The estimate was well below the competitors and let us know we could stop sanding. They were friendly and professional. They were able to do the job in just 3 hours!

Quite well. The end result is quite pleasing, and the old way you can easily tell where the old vents were is that the paint we put on doesn't match exactly, so a nice texture job. There was one wall where the guy was pounding the old vent flanges in to get them out of the way, and on the opposite side of the wall, you can now see a few nail heads starting to push up the texture. I didn't notice it at the time of the job.

Steve came out and gave me a written estimate on the spot. I then scheduled an appointment for the work to be done. Craig came out on time and was just fantastic! He prepped the whole area, making sure that everything was done right. In no time, the work was done and Craig cleaned up everything too! I can 100% recommend C.D.S. to anyone!!!

Called Steve from CDS for an estimate. He returned my message within a couple of days. He came out and gave me an estimate. He was very cordial and professional. He left a written estimate with me at that time. I called him back a few days later to schedule work. He scheduled me within the following week and a half. He had four members of his crew come out to do the work in order to be able to finish the job in 1 day vs. 2 (he knew we would be inconvenienced by having our kitchen covered in plastic). I was pleased at the thoughtfulness. The quality of the work was good. Only a few things were left undone such as 2 doors they had removed were not re-hung. However, they may have had a reason for that(?). There were also a few spots where the spackle from the re-texturing splashed onto areas of the wall causing us to have to touch up our paint, however, I also don't know that that necessarily could have been avoided. Overall, we were quite pleased with the job.

Since we have been doing remodeling work sporadically for years we have not been consistent with our hired help. The thing that impressed me the most is that they called us within hours of my initial voice mail. This is very rare in the remodel area today. The work was done very efficiently, and with accuracy. I would definitely hire CDS again.

The workers were very prompt and courteous. They provided good quality work and clean up was excellent as they left behind no mess. The walls seems straight and smooth. There were only a few problems but they took care of those rather quickly. The price could have been lower but it always can.
