When a huge rock hit my windshield I called Safelight to come out and seal it while they were working on getting my Pilkington top tint windshield. Safelight came out 3 times and every time they did not have the right windshield. Safelight felt so bad they refunded my entire amount of $127 on the seal! I had to find another windshield repair shop that could order the windshield I wanted. When I talked to California Auto Glass they said no problem they could get it in, so I made an appointment to take it in. I came at my appointment time and I asked to see the windshield and to my disappointment they didn't order the right one - it didn't have the top tint. They said they would reorder and assured me the next time they would have it. I came back the next week and they did have the right windshield. They completed the job and I got in my car and noticed my rear view mirror had the bracket taken off and my wiring was hanging out. I went back in and told them and the tech came out and mounted it upside down. I got home and my husband put it up right but it looked like he mounted the whole rear view mirror too low, because now the bracket was just hanging there. During this time I notice my bluetooth microphone was not working. I could hear people, but they couldn't hear me. I called her up and asked if they could look at my rear view mirror because the bracket was hanging and I thought they maybe mounted my rear view to low. She said no we didn't mount it to low and just started arguing with me. I asked if they could take a look at it and I asked if I could come in the next day at 4pm and she said no and to call back next week (and wasn't willing to make an appointment with me). So I take my car to the dealership trying to figure out the bluetooth issue. Come to find out, California Auto Glass disconnected all of my rear view mirror wiring and the microphone (I mean seriously, how was I supposed to know my bluetooth microphone was in my rear view mirror). The dealership asked if I wanted them to fix it for $77 and I said yes because who knows when California Auto Glass would be willing to fit me into their busy schedule. I called California Glass "the next week" and let them know that they messed up and unhooked all of wiring. Guess what...the lady owner just starts arguing with me and saying that isn't her problem and I should have brought it in and they would have fixed my bluetooth and that she never said any of that, blah, blah, blah. Do you remember the beginning of my story when Safelight refunded my money no questions asked because they gave me bad service? Do you think California Auto Glass gave me good service ( had to go back 3x's, they did sloppy work, and then gave me terrible customer service when it was their fault!) I asked her if she was going to close her doors over $77 to make me a happy customer? She just started the same argument ALL over with me about how it wasn't her fault, blah, blah, blah. They are TERRIBLE business owners. I actually own my own business too and I would have refunded that money in a New York Minute. If I were you I would not do business with California Auto Glass, they do sloppy work and will argue you to the death. I am sure your time is more valuable to you, because I know mine is and I won't be back! How much do you guys want to bet she responses to this bad review and starts arguing with me all over again....? I am going to put a $20 on it! BOTTOM LINE IS YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS - nothing more to argue about. Period the end!

THEIR SERVICE WAS OKAY. IT TOOK A LITTLE WHILE OF WAITING SINCE THEY HAD OTHER CUSTOMERS. THEY DID THE WINDOWS WITHIN HALF AN HOUR TO AN HOUR. OVERALL, IT WAS A GOOD EXPERIENCE, AND THEY WERE NICE AND PROFESSIONAL ABOUT IT.
Description of Work: SOMEBODY BROKE INTO OUR CAR AND BROKE OUR WINDOW. WE CALLED THE COMPANY AND SCHEDULED AN APPOINTMENT. THEN, WE WENT TO THEIR PLACE AND HAD OUR GLASS WINDOW REPLACED.
