We contacted Andy and he promptly responded and came by as agreed exactly on time (punctual everytime !!). Andy took a look at the property, paid attention to all our requirements, was meticulous in writing notes and said he would get back to us with the estimates. Estimates: Andy got back to us as promised on the date and scheduled a meeting with us to go over the estimates. His estimate was documented very clearly for each item in drilled down details. Among the other quotes we had received, Andy seemed to be have a very fair estimate. As for timeliness, Andy promised to complete the work by 4 weeks, but he completed the work a week early. Remodel: Andy's crew was excellent, professionals and well mannered. The crew started work early in the morning every day and were really hard at work. The work quality was excellent. As we were working professionals we would not get to visit the house too often, but whenever we did in the evenings all the mess from the day would have been cleaned up and things arranged. We must say Andy required his crew to clean up after their work every day when they are done for the day. The remodel was completed a week ahead. Andy supervised the entire work and handled any surprises that came along, and did more than what we required of him. Andy was a perfectionist and if he found anything amiss, he would take care of it himself. Final inspection and quality: Andy went through the final inspection with us, and everything was completed as per our requirements. We were very happy with the quality of the work, and the timeline of work. Final words of appreciation: We were very happy with the services of AK Construction and Andy K and his entire crew. When we started out on this remodel, quite a lot of our friends mentioned their bad experiences with the contractors and delays and contractors not showing up on some days. Thanks to Andy, we had a smooth run with the entire remodel and did not face any problems that we were wary about initially,

We contracted with Andy Kwitowski of AK Construction in Morgan Hill, CA to do some remodeling on our home in San Jose. Andy was referred to us by a friend. The price was reasonable. The quality of the work preformed was excellent. The job was completed in a reasonable time frame. The sub-contractors were always at our home when Andy said they would be. Andy is a very personable man and a clear communicator. Andy kept us updated on any problems he encountered as the job progressed, and advised us of our options. We intend to use Andy for some interior work we have planned for the future.
