Mr Kim worked all day in tight quarters to resolve the issue. Could not ask for a more professional and quality workmanship.

Terrible. Had to come back multiple times because of different reasons including wrong time or thought there was a missing part when there wasn't. Didn't notice a chip on one toilet making it defective. Hired another plumber through Angie's list who found he put a new wax ring on top of the existing one rather than remove it first. On the second he never noticed a blockage in the pipe line. Since it didn't flush well from the get go hired a plumber who found the blockage.

From start to finish, what mattered most (the quality of the work) went great. Kevin came out and looked at what we needed done and gave us an estimate including what we had paid Angie's List. He was on time, professional, and easy to communicate with. We didn't want the work done for several months, which was fine with Kevin. The work itself went perfectly. We would hire Kay's again without hesitation.

Ad stated 8 Hours of Painting. First appointment painter cancelled the day before due to overload of existing jobs. Painter arrived following week where home owner called in for Jury Duty. Painting managed by Realtor and despite explicit written directions turned into numerous questions to what to do. Painter arrive at 9 but took lunch which is fine but I arrived to home at 4 and no painter in sight. My neighbor watering his lawn said he got home at 3:45 and no one was around? Called painter and he stated he left at 4:15 BUT oddly I was there at 4?? If you do the math of 8 Hours of Painting, the numbers don't work?? If for what was actually painted, I would have needed a painter for a week!

I purchased a deal for Two rooms of Painting for $199. After confirming a date, the painter showed up promptly as promised. I showed him the bedrooms he would be painting and gave him the paint for the walls (colored paint) and white paint for the ceilings. However, to much of my surprise, I was told that the voucher does not include painting the closets or the ceilings and that if I wanted the ceilings to be painted I would be charged $100 extra per room/ceiling. Now, correct me if I am wrong, but a room consists of four walls and a ceiling - and usually closets. I can barely get over the closets; but I cannot get over the celings. No where in the voucher did it state that ceilings were not included. In fact, ceiling was worded in the voucher which would easily lead me to believe that they would be included in the deal. I ended up paying for the ceilings to be painted but decided to paint the closets myself. I feel the voucher was misleading. I purchased this deal assuming the ENTIRE room would be painted. Although the painter did a very nice job, I feel we were duped. I purchased the voucher for a deal - not to have to negotiate more of what I paid for and expected to be done. I feel I paid for this deal twice as I would never have purchased this voucher knowing that a full room was not included in the deal. The deal specifically stated: "$199.00 for 2 rooms of interior painting 12x13 rooms with ten foot ceilings Deal valid for labor only; homeowner to provide paint Deal includes: prepping, spot priming, caulking, repair of small holes Includes one coat of paint; additional coats as needed will be subject to additional fees". Additionally, I also paid for some tape to be removed for another $100 which I would have done myself knowing what I know now. It appears the coupon was for an extremely bare bones paint job and the purpose for the coupon is to get the painter in the door to upsell for more work.

Repair went smoothly although he did not bring the toilet with him at time of service. Got charged $50 for an $8 flex line, felt a bit robbed. Incomplete cleanup. Paid for toilet removal and haul away but he left the toilet tank cover for me to deal with.

Kevin was very professional. His expertise and hard work made it possible to change the faucet from the outside instead of having to break through the inside wall. I would highly recommend him.

He did excellent work, very quickly, and came back with no charge when we had a problem.

Kwang (Kevin) Kim initially appeared as a nice guy but work performance showed a lack of experience and knowledge. He was extremely slow and did not have adequate supplies on his van. He had to make a trip to Ace Hardware for basic parts for the toilet's water pipe and had to return the next day to complete the garbage disposal replacement because he stated was unable to complete the installation because he was unable to remove part of the piping. Kwang informed me that he needed to buy additional piping and replace the entire piping unit under the kitchen sink for additional cost in order to install the garbage disposal. He returned the next day to finish the garbage disposal installation and replaced all the pipes under the sink. This was the same for the toilet replacement. He stated the pipe did not fix the new toilet and needed to be replaced so he went to Ace Hardware to buy a new pipe. Ten days later, I arrive home to find the carpet wet outside the bathroom and it was determined that Kwang replaced the toilet pipe but did not apply plumber's tape so the pipe from water line to the toilet was leaking. I would think applying plumber's tape to secure a pipe would be basic knowledge for a plumber. I notified Kwang about the leak and he promised to return to inspect the toilet pipe but did not show and immediately cashed my check after I notified him of the problem. I am extremely disappointed with his lack of professionalism and lack of integrity.

Communications wise, Kevin is very responsive - - which is good.  He was on-time and did the work pretty quick.

Kevin was extremely courteous, professional and helpful with advice.  He told us where he suggested we stop one color and continue with another.  I had no idea that you should stop at a corner versus a wall for example.  We both work and just let Kevin have the keys and he went about his business.  Extremely trustful and clean!  After he was done with his work we could hardly tell that he was even there outside of the new beautiful painted walls.  Kevin's pricing was extremely fair (we priced out three other contractors) and found that his price was not only the lowest but his timeline of finishing the project was also the fastest.  The whole project turned out wonderful and we could not have been happier.  Kevin asked us to do a review on Angie's list and we have never used this site before but are more than happy to oblige.

Initially I had Kay?s P&P paint the exterior of my house inside.? They were real quick on coming over for a free estimate and gave me a very reasonable quote.? So we jumped on the opportunity and scheduled the work.? They showed up on the date as promised and finished the work within the duration as quoted.? I had vines on one side of my house and they removed them (should have been extra but they didn?t charge me) and cleaned the stucco and completed the painting. I was happy with the service so I asked them to paint inside of my condo a month later. They finished the work in one day at a very reasonable cost and everything came out great.? They were also very good at covering the existing stuff in the condo so it was done very professionally.? I know who call for my paint job.

Apparently the sink drain have been damaged for a few years. This caused dirty water to creep into the crawl space damaging the floor board under the kitchen and attracting critters. What I liked about Mr Kim is that he was punctual and made sure the job was finished on time and did not leave a mess afterward. He is reliable and accessible - always returned my calls.

Kay's Plumbing was very professional, completed quality work and was on time with the project. We would recommend them for your painting and plumbing needs.

Very responsive - was able to get appointment next day
Very good at identifying the leak origination and took picture of the inside of the wall so I could visualize the problem
Successful at fixing the leak and offered a guarantee ( included in the price) where he would come back at any time if the problem came back or was not successfully complete.  I have not experienced any problems once he fixed the leak..
He is very nice to work with very polite and professional.
