Green Home Evaluation

We were very satisfied with this company. Josh was extremely professional and lived up to the many certifications he has received for energy auditing. He started by analyzing our energy bills to see how much we were using during different seasons. He also spent time discussing the concerns we had and what we would like in terms of making our home more comfortable. Then he spent several hours running various tests on our home to determine where air was leaking in/out of our house. He also evaluated the water heater, our heating/AC ducts and systems, our lighting both inside and outside the house and our insulation (almost none it turns out!), and used infrared cameras to identify the worst areas of heat/cold transfer in our exterior walls and attic. He also did combustion tests to evaluate any air quality issues with our heating/AC/water heater. Having looks at all these details Josh then generated a very thorough report, including photos indicating the areas that needed attention. He also helped up prioritize the possible improvements we could make based on the biggest improvement in energy efficiency for the money spent. The evaluation and report are what we paid him for. Just for this work alone I would recommend him very highly. However Josh has gone above and beyond by helping to coordinate the work that we have chosen to have done and making sure the other contractors we have hired are doing appropriate and quality work to meet the energy savings goals we have. Houses are complex systems and Josh's expertise has been really great from start to finish!
