Mr. Krauskopf is a pleasant, courteous, senior who made three house-calls to me in Pasadena, which is about ten miles from his office in Montrose. First time, I was asking whether my 4-year-old top-of-the-line "all-in-one" HP Computer, already "repaired" once this year, could be repaired adequately again or should I get a new one. We discussed the pros and cons and I got a new Dell computer. He then came again and installed the new computer, but he had to take my old one to his office in Montrose to extract the hard drive, then he came back and installed the old hard drive in my new computer and made sure all the peripherals (printers etc) were functioning. He disposed of the old computer for me.

Norm improved the workings of Mozilla as described above, but he was unable to fix the one problem of being able to open photos within an email.  He finished up all he could do, but left promising us he would research the problem on his own and let us know what he found.  I must admit, I was skeptical of ever hearing from him about that.  But the very next day, he called up and said he had found the solution!  He walked me through the steps needed to correct it on our computer, and it worked!  There was no extra charge for doing that.  He made a promise and he kept it.  That was very impressive. All in all, Norm is professional, punctual, and effective.

He didn't arrive on time.  He arrived 3 hours early!  Everything was up and running within an hour.

My issue was solved in less than 20 minutes.

The service went well. The technician did a nice job. He did some extra things for me, as well. He was very knowledgeable and great at explaining things to me. He was very responsive and made scheduling very easy. I have not had any problems since the service.

I sent Norm a message in the morning he got back to me promptly. I dropped off my computer and by evening he had it ready for me.  His price was very fair when I went to pick up my computer he went over all that he did to tune it up and answered some additional questions I had about the computer. I took the computer to him because it was easier for me, but he said he would be happy to come to my house if needed. I would highly recommend Norm Krauskopf  and plan and using his services in the futue

After calling his office, Norm, the "Computer Guy" came to my home to ascertain the problem as I had two computers which decided to rebel at the same time.  After examining both computers, he ultimately needed to remove them from my premises but returned 2 days later with computers in hand (or both hands) and all was fixed.  Norm set up both computers and they worked perfectly. I was impressed because, besides being efficient and knowledgeable, which made me feel as if I had made the right choice, he was personable and answered all of my questions without "beating around the bush."

I dropped off the PC on Monday night and explained the issues to Norm.  He has an extensive background in technology, so I definitely felt confident he could resolve the issue.  Within a day, Norm fixed the problem without having to buy new parts and even organized all the loose cables.   It's been a week since and the computer is running fine without any issues.  I would highly recommend Computer Guy LA for any of your PC related problems.

I dropped the computer off late on Saturday, and Norm had the problem diagnosed by Sunday morning.  I thought that the problem was viruses/malware, but he found that in addition to virus problems, the hard drive itself was failing.  I got my computer back in a few days with all of my data intact (it was ready sooner than I was able to pick it up.)  I am very happy with the service and felt that the price was fair.  He communicated with me after diagnosing the problem and let me know the approximate cost.  The final invoice was quite detailed; it spelled exactly what was done.  I chose Computer Guy LA because of positive reviews on Angie's List, and was not disappointed. I can definitely recommend Computer Guy LA to others.

Well, he was late getting here but I know how LA traffic can be plus he didn't feel well so it wasn't a big deal for me.
He was very fast and my Cables still work! I would call him again if necessary.
I felt the fee was good...not much more than a trip charge!

Was very professional, and really knew what he was doing. I have an older laptop, and planned to get a new one, and will have him set it up for me! In the mean time, he got this "old dog" running like a top.

We have been taking our computers and laptops in to Computer Guy Norm for about three years, usually for serious viruses we could not get rid of.  Each time, he was able to remove the virus, reinstall the software, and he recovered the data all but one time (the hard drive was fried in this case).  He is very friendly, and has given me tips on good, free antivirus software and what to do when we get a virus.  Price has ranged from about $85 to $230, most often under $100.  We have found Norm to be knowledgeable, fair and honest, and will continue to use his services.

I found Computer Guy LA on Angie's List.  I called Norm and arranged for him to come by the house in two days, on a Saturday.  There was no rush as the ailing computer was not regularly used.
Norm arrived on time and called before arriving.  After performing multiple tests, he determined that my McAfee anti-virus software was corrupted and preventing internet access.  He removed it and replaced it with Microsoft Essentials, a free anti-virus program.  After that all was well.
On the spur of the moment, I asked Norm to take a look at my wife's laptop which was booting up very slowly (5+ minutes).  He explained that Windows Vista is resource intensive and boots up slowly on most computers.  He did notice that the disk defragmenter had not run for several years, so he reconfigured it so that it would run every week.  
Norm was friendly, knowledgeable, and answered all my questions clearly.  I will definitely turn to him in the future for my PC-related problems.

Norm is very professional and was able to quickly and effectively remove a virus from our computer that had rendered our system usless.  He had everything up and running better than before in less than 24 hours.  His price was very reasonable, I would use him again.

I had a DSL extreme.  It couldn’t be fixed because the part they sent wouldn’t work.  He was very nice.  He did get the AT&T modem to be working just fine.
