Mark proved to be a terrific person and extremely knowledgeable and professional in his work.
Mark was super responsive and proactive in answering questions and concerns and providing solutions.
He proved a depth of knowledge about wood flooring while evaluating best ways to work on our floors, which ranged from original, old growth fir (1928 era) to solid oak (1980's). Our desire to have them match, was impossible, but Mark made extra effort to mix stains and sample them on our floor to our satisfaction.
If the review was up to this point - Straight A's and two thumbs up for Mark Randazzo.
Unfortunately, Mark has employees that, at the time, did not share Mark's passion for creating beautiful improvements and satisfying experiences. Where the workers fell short, was in being messy and careless.
Certainly I have been disappointed before when service providers leave dirt and sawdust behind. But when floor finishers leave stain on the walls, trim and doors, it is difficult to just forgive and impossible to remove.
Again, to Mark's credit, he immediately came back to my house to examine the marks left by his crew. He offered to have them clean and or paint over any and all marks left behind. I declined, not wanting to extend the project any further.
At the end, when all issues were covered up, the floors looked great.
Mark and his team had done a great job patching the 85 year old fir and getting the oak floors to match in color and hue. I believe Mark will, or already has done, work with staff to remedy the negligence that allowed a less than stellar presentation.
Because of the professional that Mark is, I would use him again and endorse others to use Mark as well. The level of Mark's character and expertise far outweighs the correctable carelessness of another.
