R L Osborn Carpet Rug Cleaning

The company does high quality work, but Osborn's pricing is very expensive. In my case, I paid $750 for 2.5 hours of work. I was surprised by this, particularly because he had done the same work 2 years earlier, for less than half that price. He proclaimed it was "the price of the chemicals". I think this is disingenuous - it is hard to contemplate the costs of chemicals for my small job at more than $75 (which seems high given what household cleaners costs in general). This means he is charging over $200/hour for his labor. This is exorbitant - and consumers should be fully aware that this is his business model.

He uses green products. It is a steam extraction system, so it dries quickly. He does a marvelous job. He also worked on an oriental rug; it is a 13 step process that they do because these rugs are very delicate.
