I called Brian on Wed afternoon and he returned my call before the end of the day. I explained my issue and needs and he set a time convenient for me to come with the part ready to install the next day. He was there on time and got the job done quickly and efficiently. He is a great plumber and a good guy.

Brian Hicks showed up within 15 mins of scheduled 8:30am start time and began demolition of platform and reviewing of materials I provided. His 2-man crew arrived thereafter, and proceeded with the work as Brian left. Brian consulted via phone with with his team during the day. The crew finished, cleaned the area, and departed about 5:00pm (as expected). They helped me with my part of some installation work (electrical wiring of pump manager), and advised me how to tighten the sediment filter housing that I had left too loose. All were friendly, competent folks, not given to glad-handing or "marketing". I received the invoice via email the next day, for the low-end of the estimated amount. I am very pleased!

It was a quick repair. My experience was great. I know him personally. He lives down the street. He was responsive. He was reasonably priced and competent.

I have used Hicks Plumbing for many projects, such as our main hot water heater replacement, a furnace replacement, and installation of a new gas line. I have recommended Hicks to my neighbors and friends, who all agree that this is an honest man and a good company to deal with.

They were on time and did a great job. There were 2 guys that came out and price was by the hour . They performed these jobs efficiently.

Brian Hicks is a good plumber and is prompt to return phone calls and comes personally to do fixes. I called him and left him a message and he called within the hour.
One of the toilets has worked flawlessly for the last two months and we couldn't be happier about it because it had plagued our dreams for several years as to weather the tank would stop filly after every flush. The other toilet (and he warned us about the dangers with the Toto toilet we had and it's faulty flusher) which had worked better over the years and just started leaking, was fixed for a week or two and then the flusher gave out and now we need to get it looked at again.
I called Brian to take a look at a few more plumbing issues (kitchen sink, bathroom sink, and second toilet) five minutes before typing this review and though he has yet to return my phone call I am confident he will contact me soon, despite the fact that it is after 5pm.

Respond promptly to phone messages. Mr. Hicks called to tell me if he is running behind schedule and will be later than stated. Extremely courteous to cultural considerations. We are an Asian family and we remove our footwear when entering our house. I did not need to ask Mr. Hicks to remove his shoes - he noticed and respected our customs. He also came back the next day for stoppage issues on a bathtub that was possibly caused when the new heater was installed and he would not charge me the additional time it took to fix that problem.

They did a great job within my budget. They took direction well at the special requests I had and were timely in finishing the job. I would definitely use them again.

The gentleman who responded to my call looked at our two clean out places and determined that it was the line to the street that needed clearing. After he used the rotorooter machine, he then had me run the washing machine spin cycle to see if the water was handled efficiently. When he was sure that all was function correctly, he gave me the bill and took my check. He was very efficient and professional.

Their price was reasonable. They were just friendly and knowledgeable.

We had a problem with our faucet - it was leaking. Mr. Hicks came right over and checked into the issue. He also measured for me so I could select a sink that would fit. We purchased the sink and set teh appointment. Mr. Hicks arrived and guess what? The faucet didn't fit with our windowsill. So, Mr. Hicks sent me to Home Depot with his employee and he helped me pick a faucet that fit the sink AND the windowsill that we wanted to keep. I love the new faucet and we ended up saving money by finding one for approximately $100 that we liked instead of the $200 one my husband picked. The other faucet was nicer; however, we chose to keep the windowsill. We are happy and have not had a leak since! Mr. Hicks even checked in with me the week after to ensure that the leak was 100% fixed!
