They changed the shower and the toilet to an ADA.   They also tiled the bathroom floor as well, and it looks beauitful.  They added a new vanity and created new storage.  updated on 6/10/11 I thought the work was completed, but it's not, and he needs to come back and fix some things.  He's come back 2 times so far, and he's going to have to come back at least twice more.  He scratched the sink.  He also broke something in the yard and tried to put it back so that it didn't look broken.  He has been paid in-full so far. updated 8/23/11. He has stopped answering my calls and will not come back to finish the work. I am having to hire someone else to complete the project. During the new contractors estimate, I discovered that nearly everything was completed with very poor quality and possibly even secondhand materials.
Response from Wright Contractor Service Inc.
"First of all I am in real shock the last time I came to the house all seemed well they want me to come back to get other repairs done soon. The work I can back for was minor. A little touch up that I could see only with a fine tooth comb and I move a mirror higher as they requested. I was not aware of any issue that I had prior to leaving. When I was there they mention two issues: one we got a little paint on the ceiling and I told them I will repaint the ceiling for no cost so the whole ceiling will match and I was not prepared for that prior to coming to the customer because I was not made aware before the visit. Two: After they made me aware when I came to address that a broken garden plate that is on the front door step (I don’t know If we broke it there is a lot of UPS drivers deliveries there and I don’t know if they broke it). I offered to replace it when I was made aware. I been back to the house twice, but one time I was replacing a door for them something they added. I was not aware of any issue that I had prior to leaving on the last trip."

I hired a contractor remove my bathtub/shower combo and install a new walk-in shower. He did a very poor job and had to remove all the drywall and the shower panels down to the studs and start all over again. The second time he did in improperly to the point nothing was square and the shower doors wouldn't close correctly, the floor wasn't level and wouldn't have drained properly, and there were big gaps between the door frame and the wall, due to everything being so out of plumb. . I fired the guy after he messed it up twice.   I called Jack at Wright Construction immediately. My tenant had no toilet or shower for over a week already, and I needed it done right, and done soon.  I talked to Jack in the afternoon and explained the situation, and he was kind enoughto come by early the next morning on his way to another job. He gave me an estimate that I felt was very fair and I contracted him to do the job. All the parts had been purchased, so it was a labor only job. He came in and removed the glass shower doors, and then had to cut drywall around the shower, then take out the vinyl shower, removed everything down to the studs and started over again.. He discovered several serious mistakes the previous contractor had made, mostly in improper framing. The framing needed to be squared up, and the floor leveled. After repairing all of the problems, he reinstalled the shower panels, replaced the drywall, and textured and painted everything to match, and finally adjusted and rehung the shower doors.   I feel conpletely confident in the work Jack Wright did and wouldn'r hesitate to hire him again..

Professional job. Showed up when he stated, quoted the price. Installed and completed the job on time. Jack communicated what, when, and how much, with accuracy. I'm very pleased with the outcome.
