The entire job had to be redone! When we told Johnny we wanted a new fence using composite material, he said he had no problem with using this type of material and thought it was a good idea. He said he was familiar with this type of material and knew how to install it. Well, about a month after it was done, the dog-ear boards began to buckle and "waffle". After consulting with the manufacturer, and actually meeting with the manufacturer and Johnny at my house, Johnny realized he didn't install the fence as specified by the manufacturer. So, he agreed to redo the entire job at his expense, except that we did pay for some material that, if had used them to begin with, we would have had to pay for them anyway. Well, the second time around was better, but we still have problems with the buckle-and-waffle effect. I'll probably have to redo the entire fence myself. Also, the first time Johnny was here, my neighbor had informed me that he had made some mess on their property. My neighbor said it wasn't a big deal and clean it up themselves, but just wanted me to know. Also, the ground cover we planted along the fence was destroyed by Johnny and his crew during initial installation of the fence, and, again, when it was reinstalled. Furthermore, the hose sprayer was damaged beyond use and had to be replaced with a new one. This happened both times here was here to install the fence. Also, when he was here the second time to redo the fence, he left his tools scattered all-over the backyard, during the entire week he was here. But, we give him credit for taking responsibility for improperly installing the fence the first time, and agreeing to redo it at his expense. He is also a nice guy and seems to have a nice temperament. Finally, when it comes to installing a fence with regular wood materials, I think it's safe to say that he probably does a really good job, but that's just a guess on my part.
Description of Work: Install a fence along the east side of the house using composite fencing materials. This would require removal and disposal of the existing chain-link fence, then install the new fence.
