My truck door window regulator pulled away from the window when I attempted to lower the power door window. I took my truck to this business and George listened to the sound inside the door then quoted me $45 if the window only needed to be reattached to the regulator. He explained if there was something wrong with the regulator he would show me what was broken prior to ordering and we would go from there.
While I waited, he removed the panel and found the window pulled off the regulator clips and only needed to be glued back to the clips. He replaced the panel, cleaned the window and even fixed the door squeek without prompting. He also taped the power window button so I would not accidently lower the window prior to the glue drying.
This same thing happened about 4 years ago. That time I took it to the Ford dealer, Ford of Upland. I had to leave it for the day and it cost over a hundred.
