Response from JCR Construction and Maintenance
I want to thank [member name removed] for her review, even though she has not mentioned the full scope of the situation that occurred. [member name removed] has taken this matter to the CSLB and even opened a case with my insurance bond. Both agencies, that is the California State License Board and my insurance company, have looked into the matter in full detail. I presented my documentation and evidence to the investigating agencies, as I am sure [member name removed] did as well. Both agencies made contact with me and [member name removed] and explained why there was no case to this matter. I had explained to [member name removed] several times the terms of agreement that occurred between my company and a representative that she appointed to the contract by the name of Daniel Benitez, who also handles her landscaping. [member name removed] had hired a crew of individuals who were unlicensed and who had been scamming her of her money even before I had been asked to assist. This crew, I came to find out, were not only illegal in the country and operating fraudulently under false documentation, but were in fact being managed by her own representative Daniel Benitez. After realizing the huge mess that these people had been causing to her remodel, [member name removed] decided to come after me for a refund on services that were clearly depicted to the representative she appointed, Daniel Benitez. She literally put this guy in charge of all the work with no questions or concerns. As mentioned, two investigative agencies have handled this case, and have determined that [member name removed] has provided no SUBSTANTIAL EVIDENCE to support her claim. This matter occurred some time ago, a little longer than a year ago, and has made it her mission to ruin my name as well as my company. It has become clear and apparent to me that she will continue to defame my character at any cost. I have not yet sought any legal action toward this, as I am not that type of person. I pride myself in providing a service that is sincere and as straight forward as possible. I deal with the individuals that are responsible for the project at hand, for the most part the owner, but in many cases project managers........ as in this case. I would never conduct myself in a manner that would place my license or the reputation of my company in jeopardy. This is an isolated case that I would be more than happy to discuss given the opportunity. I am still currently holding and active California State Contractor's License and hope to continue to provide service to those who desire to conduct business with my company. Any further questions or concern about this matter can be answered by submitting and inquiry to the CSLB or via email or mail at my stated addresses.
