replace parts. Vendor said they would replace molded parts at their expense, but did not.
Tried 3 different service people, over all bad and frustrating experience. Tried them for 21 months.
The pool is located at my rental property so I don't inspect it
regularly, but every time I do it appears as though it has not been serviced in
several weeks. The last time I visited the property, there was algae on the stairs
and in the spa, obvious dirt buildup in the shallow end, the auto-sweeper had
several hose segments that had decayed and cracked, the water level was so low
the pump was sucking air, and the chemical tab dispenser was empty. When I
called Alberto, he said he could not do it the previous week because the gate
was locked. I know this was not true because the previous tenant had moved out
before the service date and taken their locks. Additionally, he had used this
excuse a couple times before and I told him to call me when it happens. He did
not. In my last bill, he charged me $95 to clean the filter, but the pressure
gauge is still above the threshold and I have no evidence that he did anything.
Several months ago I noted that the pool light was out and asked him if they
had bulbs that could be replaced. He told me the whole light needed to be
replaced and quoted me $300 to do it. I researched it and found that they do
have bulbs. I purchased 10 bulbs on line for $17 and replaced it myself in
about 15 minutes. He quoted me $220 to remove the calcium line on the tiles. It?s
important to note that I took care of the pool for five years before hiring
Vivo Pools and I never had a calcium line. After one year of service from
Alberto, he wants to charge me to remove the line resulting from his negligent care.
