If I didn't have a regular plumber already, I would call on Asher Plumbing for any plumbing work I needed done. Over Memorial Day weekend water started flooding my front yard. It was coming from a release valve in my front yard. The only way I could stop it was to turn off the water. This was early Sunday on Memorial Day weekend. My regular plumber was away for the holiday weekend so I put out a call to my local Facebook friends. One friend, Robin, recommended Asher Plumbing. I've known Robin for years and I know she has very high standards so I felt confident in calling Asher. Mr. Asher showed up when he said he would. He took a look at the valve and explained exactly what was going on and what needed to be done. He said he could fix it for me but couldn't give me the discount he gives my friend. This seemed more than fair - he's been her plumber for a long, long time and he knew that I had my own plumber who I would normally call in these situations. He told me he could give me a temporary solution that would hold until my plumber got back to replace the valve. He also told me exactly what to tell my plumber as far as what the problem was and what kind of valve should be used to replace the old one. Mr. Asher was very professional, reliable, and skilled. I felt that the amount he charged was very, very reasonable since he came out on a Sunday, on a holiday weekend from Tujunga to my house on the other side of the valley.
