Our backyard consisted of dirt and very tall weeds. We met with and got quotes from 8 to 10 companies, before finally deciding to go with Ray's Landscape. Their estimate was within our budget and we liked the fact that he was licensed and carried Workers' Comp insurance. The job took 1-2 weeks longer than expected, partially due to rain. The workers were courteous and did a great job. The pavers look great. About 5 months after the work was done, one of the paving stones sank about 2 inches. I called Ray, and three weeks later, they came out to fix the problem free of charge. PROS: - No sales pressure - Great work - Insured and bonded - Reasonable costs - Came to fix problem months after job completed! - Ray (owner) is very nice. CONS: - Always got voicemail whenever I called. It would take 1-2 business days to get a callback. Even when I was calling to hire Ray's Landscape for the job, it was a few days before I heard from Ray. - Ray was a little forgetful at times. For instance, we had talked about making a grove in the pavers because of drainage issues. However, this was not communicated to the workers. When we talked with Ray again, he didn't seem to remember that we had already discussed it. Ray was also going to refer us to two other contractors to do some additional work, however, we never got those names even though we asked a few times. Overall, we are very happy with the work that Ray's Landscape did. We would use them again in the future, however, we would make it a point to put everything down in writing.

THEY WERE GOOD AND RELIABLE, AND MY HUSBAND REALLY LIKED THE GUY. HE THOUGHT HE WAS REALLY PROFESSIONAL. THE QUALITY OF THEIR WORK WAS GOOD. IF WE EVER ASKED THEM TO DO ANYTHING, IT WAS DONE. THE CREW CAME AND DID IT, AND I NEVER EVEN SPOKE TO THEM MOST OF THE TIME.

OVERALL EXPERIENCE IS POSITIVE. THE YARD WAS COMPLETED WITH GOOD COMMUNICATION AS TO TIMING AND EXPECTATIONS. THE OWNER WAS COURTEOUS AND CONSIDERATE AT ALL TIMES AND MADE A POINT OF VISITING THE JOB SITE WHEN NECESSARY.
