FORTRESS SECURITY SYSTEMS

We recently went away on a 6-week trip out of the country. Really the MOST vital time to have a security company that is trustworthy. Within 3-days of leaving the false alarms started. It was due to faulty equipment. They came and "fixed" it. More false alarms. Came and fixed it again. More false alarms. In total, I now owe $717 of false alarms fees. Asked him to pay for the alarms, as it was clearly his fault. He refused. Rick the owner basically said too bad for me and blamed it on the poor girl who was taking care of our house who had to get up at all hours of the night. On top of that, we called for two-days from Spain to try and reach someone at Fortress and could NOT talk to anyone that knew what was going on. Think about that. Could not reach someone at your own security company. When we finally reached him he said he took some pills and fell asleep early and didn't hear the phone. Staggering! Never even apologized for anything. We canceled our service. In my opinion, a completely untrustworthy company when you actually need them the most. A disaster. My opinion is to STAY AWAY from this company.
