It went great. The home is a 90 year old California Bungalow that is sort of a mini-Craftsman. The crown molding, door and window trim is particularly nice, but had been painted over again and again. Stripping the paint or replacing the wood was not
something that we could afford. Terry used a technique of applying a light colored coat of paint and then a dark glaze to achieve a stained wood look. From back a few feet, Wow! Restoration on a budget. We could not be happier. Terry used a helper for the prep and walls, but did the detail work himself to make sure it was done right. He is a craftsman who is not satisfied if he has not done his best.
Not only a good painter, he did stucco, masonry and exterior carpentry for us. He can also do interior carpentry. I found him to be totally trustworthy.
