They showed up on time and got to work right away and appeared to know what they were doing. It took them only two days to paint the entire house, which at the time seemed like a good thing, but as time progressed (after a few months) it became apparent why they were so quick. They did a very poor job. It looked okay initially, but is now falling apart. The first problem appeared the day after the painters left, when we went through and tried to open up some windows...every single double hung window was painted shut. In their defense, they did come over the next day and got the windows to open, however, in doing so they used razor blades to free the windows, chipped off some paint, gouged the sills & windows. Yes, the windows do now open, but almost all of them require two hands and occasionally an extra person to open all the way. The main reason I needed to have my house repainted was to remedy the peeling paint on the window sills, doors, fascia boards & rafters. This would require the painters to remove the old paint and then prime & repaint the bare wood. This is what they had signed on for, however, it is not what happened, since on all of the previously mentioned surfaces, the old paint has again started to curl and is chipping of the new paint, so it actually looks worse than before, since now there is chipping paint on an obviously newly painted house. They told me that they removed all of the old paint, but that is obviously not the case. I have called and complained several times and they have returned one of my calls and left a voice mail saying they would come back over as soon as the weather cleared up, and I have not heard from them since. In all honesty, I do not want them to come back and 'fix' the problems they left behind, since I am positive they will create more problems than I have now. In conclusion, I am not at all happy with the work they performed. It looked okay when I did the walk through the night they finished, but has not, at all, stood the test of time (5 months). I strongly discourage anyone from hiring this company, unless you need a cheap, quick, repaint of a house in decent shape with no peeling paint, and do not really use your windows that much anyway.
