Oil Can Henry's

Oil Can Henry's was very thorough and friendly. A second person went through a list verbally to make sure everything was checked, completed, done and secure on the truck before we left, so we left the premises knowing that all the parts were in place and secure... no loose oil filters (that happened to my brother once and destroyed the engine). Less expensive than changing the oil ourselves in the long run since they used brand name oil.

It went great.

Overall went well but quite a bit of up selling. I think their air filters are overpriced after checking at a parts store. I was also disappointed in the reduction of the veterans discount.

After the heated discussion with the manager, i was able to pay the "fair price", but was forewarned that It wouldn't be allowed again.

Running this type of business has to be tough, because you never know if the workers who perform the service are slacking off or not, or doing a good job. I have taken all three of my family's vehicles there for about 3 years. Because of the price and general over-all good service I have been returning, though I sometimes catch them not performing the service they say has been done, like filling th windshield wiper fluid, or putting air in the tires. My car has been leaking oil ever since the last change, and I found that the plug was not properly tightened. I think that the owner needs to often make random follow-up check to make sure that all of his workers are doing the job correctly 100 percent of the time. Fire a couple on the spot and I'll guarantee that every customer will get all the services promised every time.

Over all they did fine, got me in, were nice, got me out. But when I checked the list of things they completed it was wrong. They never checked the tires (because I found one nearly flat 10 min later), they never cleaned the windshield as indicated they had. They never inspected the wiper blades, as they indicated they had. I'll use these guys again but next time I'm going to be watching very closely and will ask for the manager when I find they slacked off.

There are a lot of these oil change places, they need to be on top of their game to keep in business!
