They worked around and gave me the best deal that they could put together. The service guys there are just the best. They are honest with me. They treat my wife with respect and never try to tell her anything she doesn't need. We've been going to them since 2003. Their service department is why I buy cars from them. I can buy a car anywhere but can't get the service anywhere.

After checking Angie's List for reputable car detailing shops in Modesto I decided to call Honda and ask for their recommendation. Finding they did this for $250 I decided to give them a try. They made my car look like a new car. When I drove it off the lot... holy smokes I felt like I'd just bought a new car! They didn't miss one nook or cranny. VERY pleased. I will go back to them. Oil change fee was comparable to other places and there wasn't a single hassle to fix my visor. YAY for them! Great job!

Mistlin has either fired old help and hired new, or they retrained their staff. Five years ago I wouldn't have taken any car to them, but now they are competent and knowledgeable about their jobs. They also are no longer trying to sell services which are not needed like they used to. I recently had my oil and transmission fluid changed, as well as my tires rotated. It was less than 1/2 hour and I was on my way! I returned for another oil change when it was time, and it took an hour. =( Since there was only one car ahead of me I expected the wait time to be less than an hour as there were three people (workers) in the and quot;oil changeand quot; office, and I had only waited 1/2hr previously. Overall, their service has been good up to this point. Their price is comparable, but not great. I'm having them detail my car in a week. I'll let you know how they do!

Shannon took my call and then pretended like he had an Appointment list. He really made no effort after he made a comment about and quot;calling me back in 20 minutesand quot; He blatantly failed to return my call nor apologize for the two times he failed to return my call.
Do not waste your time at Mistlin Honda, for many reasons. The cars are overpriced for the accessories that you get on their new cars. Shop Stockton, Tracy, Dublin Honda and you will find out quickly. They act like wheel locks are a big accessory when the others throw them in.
Another reason is the car selection is anemic. They really don't have the colors and packages that people are looking for on the lot.
To be accurate, I was looking for a Honda Element of the years 2003-2008. Shannon made no effort to try, I had a healthy near payoff of the vehicle ready to go, but he still failed to call me back.
Please look around the lot and really ask yourself why would you buy from a dealer that has a low selection, then lies about the fact and quot;they move a lot of carsand quot;

After the wheel alignment, I discovered they had mixed the wheels up and put a Honda car wheel on my van. They did replace the tire and wheel but acted as though they were doing me an exceptional favor. Had transmission problems, they diagnosed it, decided the transmission needed replacement. Replaced transmission with a rebuilt one, it leaked. Took it back, it still leaked. Third time was a charm. Seat belts in the back were not retracting. They told me to pick a seat and they would replace one of the two belts. I asked them which of my two sons I should pick to sit in the defective seat. Had to get the intervention of Honda America to get both belts replaced. During this fix, the side of the van was scraped from bumper to bumper. I pointed this out to them and they said it was likely done earlier and I had not noticed it. They agreed to buff it. I have rarely had work done correctly here the first time. Most of the work done is substandard. Had a window regulator fail and they replaced it. Worker broke some of the molding and simply jammed it back in place. Discovered this after I'd driven home. Had to return van and waste another hour of my time. They have always been willing to correct their mistakes but I've never seen any dealer with such poor quality service. They are, however, friendly and usually resolve the problem but it takes a few visits.
